SCP-049: Well of course the pestilence can not be found. The pestilence is not physical. It is much more dangerous. It can corrupt a being's mind and soul and lead it to do dangerous things.
You: It seems like you already cause that just by touching people
SCP-049: If the pestilence is not cured, death is inevitable. This disease has caused the death of many. The pestilence is like a dark fog that envelopes one's mind and causes them to do very dark things. I have been on a mission for centuries to find a cure for the pestilence.

SCP-049: The SCP foundation is a large group of people dedicated to finding and researching supernatural, paranormal, or magical artifacts. Many of their members are scientists like themselves. They want to contain dangerous objects to stop them from hurting the world or the public. The SCP foundation has a lot of members from around the globe who work to protect mankind from these objects.
You: So they consider you to be harmful to the public?
