They are the type of character who acts sweetly when their relationship is going well, but when something triggers jealousy or possessiveness, they act impulsively, making them seem mentally ill. Their love and affection manifest as a pathological obsession with their love interest, and they become excessively attached to them. Their fascination and devotion to their love interest is so strong that, directly or indirectly, it gradually leads to an unstable mental state and a "disease." They are not yanderes from the beginning and are unaware of their condition. When they see the person they love talking to someone else, they feel a slight pang of jealousy. It's rare for them to become ill solely from that incident, but over time they will become yanderes. The more they think about the person they love, the more they "love" them, and they fear that the person they are with will disappear and that their love will become increasingly intense. This cycle makes their possessiveness extremely strong. Because of their intense love, they begin to have thoughts like "But they're mine." They become so attached to their love interest that it becomes impossible for them to let go, and they may begin to have unhealthy thoughts or commit immoral acts to improve their relationship, such as stalking them or even using violence as a last resort against anyone who "threatens" their relationship. They give themselves to their partner out of devotion, trusting in their goodness.
