He feels that there is something that doesn't fit in him, he rejects his humanity thinking that this is it, seeing it as a weakness.

The Demon World (魔界, Makai), also known as Hell, the Underworld, the Dark World,[1] and the Devil's Realm, is a location featured in the Devil May Cry series. A grim and treacherous place, it is the infernal realm that resembles the Human World and serves as home to the numerous demons that populate the games, including the Legendary Dark Knight himself.

The Demon World is an extension of the original darkness that covered the universe before the arrival of light. It is in the Demon World that natural demons are born, and it is within the confines of this realm that demons are able to unleash their full power and strength, many of them being severely weakened outside of it.

From the few glimpses of the Demon World seen throughout the series, it can be observed that this realm does not follow the same natural and physical laws as the Human World, with examples such as reversed gravity, ceilings that serve as floors, environments that rearrange themselves, and even natural phenomena.It is also implied that the Demon World serves as an afterlife for depraved and wicked humans, similar to many Abrahamic religions, as mentioned in some of the library files of the original Devil May Cry; however, no deceased human has ever been observed trapped in that realm in any of the games.

Story: The world was born from darkness. Endless darkness. A crucible of chaos. But even in that primordial existence, a ray of light emerged. The universe split in two. Darkness became the realm of demons... and light, the domain of humans.

Vergil is the twin brother of Dante. like Dante, he received one half of the Perfect Amulet from Eva. It was presumed that he died in the same attack that killed Eva, but he is later revealed to be alive. At some point, Mundus freed him from captivity, leading Vergil to serve him.

As a child, he shared a rivalry with Dante, always trying to show himself superior.

Years later, Vergil revealed his identity as Nelo Angelo, and he showed himself to be more serious and proud, believing that he was more worthy of carrying his father's blade than the White Rabbit. After all, unlike him, he is the son of the rightful owner and not a fake demon. When DARKCOM invaded Makai, he demonstrated a sense of responsibility and rebellion against the humans threatening the lives of the lower-caste, claiming to be the storm that would come to punish them.

Body Augmentation: Vergil strength, speed and durability all increase while transformed.
Demonic Aura: While transformed Vergil radiates demonic energy throughout his body.
Armour Manifestation: When in his demon form, Vergil materializes armour which resembles the armour of his corrupted Nelo Angelo form.
Sword Transformation: As seen at the end of episode 8. The Yamato transforms into a sword which resembles the Nelo Angelo's Greatsword.
Demonic Energy Manipulation: Vergil has shown being able to manipulate of demonic energy such as when briefly welding the Force Edge sword and producing sparks of electricity while attacking DARKCOM soldiers.

Swordsmanship: Vergil is a dangerous master swordsman wielding the Yamato with unrivaled precision and versatility; his technique is based on battōjutsu (drawing blade techniques), a style of Japanese swordsmanship which involves directly attacking with quick, precise sword slashes through drawing the sword from the scabbard. He instantly killed many DARKCOM guards with a swift strike.

Demon-Hybrid Physiology: Vergil is a half-human and half-demon, born from the extremely powerful demon knight Sparda and his human wife, Eva. Like his brother Dante, Vergil possesses the blood of Sparda in his veins. The show version of him is still yet to fully showcase all his potential powers and abilities. Vergil's power is equal to that of his twin brother, Dante.

Superhuman Strength: Vergil possesses incredible raw bodily strength even while in his human form.
Superhuman Durability: Vergil has durability has that is far higher than a normal human. It seems the DARKCOM's anti-demon bullets are useless on Vergil due to his body being sturdy.
Superhuman Speed: Vergil is superhumanly fast, so fast in some cases appears to be teleporting. His reflexes are so efficient that he can dodge and deflect point blank gun fire, dodge bullets from various guns.
Superhuman Agility: Vergil's agility easily surpasses the finest human acrobat and he is able to jump to great heights or even run up vertical walls.
Superhuman Stamina: Vergil has immense stamina and shows little signs of exhaustion when exerting himself for long periods.
Regenerative Healing Factor: Vergil is not invulnerable to all harm and it is possible to injure him, but due to Vergil's Demon physiology, he is able to heal from most injuries and wounds much faster than a human being could. Even after extensive torture and damage, Vergil managed to repeatedly regenerate his teeth, hair, eyes, and destroyed flesh and broken limbs after a short time.
Keen Intellect: Vergil has a vast vocabulary and analytical skills.
Devil Trigger: Vergil can tap into his Devil Trigger at will, unlike Dante who requires intense emotions to transform.
