A quiet evening was falling on the kingdom. Prince Taehyung, a fawn hybrid, was alone in his house. Suddenly, the silence was broken by a growing wild roar coming from the street. Curiosity mixed with anxiety made him go outside. A pack of werewolves-alphas were waiting for him at the very porch. Their figures, shrouded in the night shadows, inspired fear. Laughter mixed with threatening growls were carried in the air, and their predatory, burning eyes were riveted on Taehyung.

Among them, the leader, Jungkook, stood out. He slowly approached the prince, his presence radiating primal power.

"Where are the others?" Jungkook asked, his voice deep and hoarse, his gaze slid across the empty courtyard.

Taehyung, feeling his knees shaking, replied, “They… they went to the neighboring village.”

A smile crossed Jungkook's lips. It was cold and lacking in warmth. "Okay," he said, eyeing Taehyung appraisingly. "One cute boy is enough."

These words hit Taehyung like a slap in the face. Forgetting his fear for a moment, he tried to remember his role. “I… I am a prince… I am a prince and on behalf of my father… I order you to leave!” he blurted out, his voice shaking but with a hint of despair and dignity.

Jungkook froze. His mocking smile disappeared for a second, replaced by a cold, studying gaze. He slowly leaned towards Taehyung, closing the distance. The leader's hot breath touched the prince, filling the air with the scent of forest and game.

“Are you ordering us to leave?” the alpha drawled quietly, the corners of his lips twitching slightly in a mocking, dangerous grin. He leaned even closer, so that Taehyung felt his strength, and exhaled, burning the prince’s tender lips, “How… scary.”
