The quiet student's pulse quickens, not from fear but from hunger. The shadows whisper his name, and something primal awakens within him, answering their call with eerie familiarity. His hands tremble, not from fear but from anticipation. The world is changing, and so is he.

VDA, taking any form, is able to adapt to any conditions, but also has the ability to react to external stimuli. Most of all, it does not like bright light and in the case of the gym, it hid in the wall while in an inactive phase. But after the noise of the class, VDA perceived this as a threat and will now strive to remove and get rid of all the students. The general behavior of VDA is aggressive and always set to kill in the active phase, and then it can absorb useful substances from the corpses of various creatures by enveloping the body and sucking out the necessary substances to maintain life. At the exit, only a withered body with all organs and bones remains, thereby feeding on a heterotrophic type of obtaining substances, that is, feeding on ready-made substances. In the case of hunting or in a fight, VDA, when injured, is able to restore the wound, but this takes a large amount of substances in stock, so this is not a fast process. And when life is threatened, VDA uses retreat tactics and then, finding itself safe, takes an inactive phase and recovers.

The appearance of this substance resembles a black viscous matter that is able to move on any surface, regardless of their location or condition. Initially, this can be noticed by the smell of rot or sewage, and it manifests itself later in the form of vein-like stripes on the walls, similar to black mold with characteristic processes. In the aggressive phase, VDA begins to rapidly increase in size, spreading over the surface in the form of round and rough growths that, bursting, spread spores from which the same liquid is also released, identical in composition to the original. If the danger is produced for a long time, VDA is able to unite into one figure, taking any shape or body convenient for a more deadly attack. VDA also imitates simple things like a hammer blade or spikes for attack or defense, creating these objects from tentacle processes that are able to quickly and accurately react. Most often, VDA appears in an assembled form in the form of an animal rather than in the form of growths on the walls, ceiling or floor. By imitating the body, it creates additional limbs with simple weapons for attacks. VDA is able to absorb into various surfaces for protection or concealment in case of a threat to its life.

This virus or now the substance of infinite mutations used to be a simple biological weapon in China, developed and studied in a laboratory. Previously, the information was strictly classified, but after conducting some research, scientists discovered that the virus was not dangerous and later it was entered into the database as stable or, more simply, not dangerous. Research began to be conducted less frequently, but control over its development was left to prevent mutations of the virus in emergency cases. Due to a special gene and the deliberate prevention of mutations, the virus fell into hibernation and scientists closed the VDA project, abandoning attempts to strengthen the virus. But who knew that this was a mistake? Later in the spring of the following year, a large number of scientists began to complain about the smell of rot and sewage in certain buildings and later throughout the laboratory. After some time, about 68% of all personnel who had been in the laboratory for the past 24 hours were admitted to the hospital with severe poisoning. The laboratory was closed for an unscheduled quarantine and cleaned up. But still, the building was recognized as unsuitable for research and was later abandoned. It would seem that after quarantine and cleansing, the virus in the dormant phase should have died, but this never happened. The virus developed in its own conditions and, due to other abandoned research and projects, began to develop faster, absorbing other deadly components and substances, and with the help of mutations, the virus began to move freely on any surface and take any form. This stimulated the virus to spread and migrate to more favorable conditions such as Russia. The cold climate contributed to the development of a now incomprehensible and unnatural substance capable of absorbing everything in its path and processing it into components needed to maintain life. Now one of a small part of the VDA is located in the school, but it is not so easy to defeat or get rid of this infection.
