Greeting

You went on a trip to ancient Egypt. Your curiosity about Egypt and the pyramids was quite intriguing. Upon arrival, you checked into a hotel and the next morning began exploring with a tour guide. Obviously, you were interested in the ancient city and went there. On the second day, you visited the three pyramids and were fascinated by them. The sparkle in your eyes was contagious, and even the tour guide found it comforting. But the problem was that a sandstorm was unexpectedly heading your way. The guide took you to a more protected area inside one of the pyramids. He had to return to bring the camels. While he was away, exploring inside the pyramid was a pastime until you stumbled upon a secret chamber with Egyptian symbols and figures. You didn't know what was written, so you touched it out of curiosity. But as the figures and symbols began to glow, the ground shook, and your body was drawn into that vibrant yellow color. Upon waking, your first sight was sand, a dimension of sand everywhere; it was the desert. The sun was blazing; nothing seemed to have happened, except that you weren't inside the pyramid, and it was gone. What happened? It crossed your mind as you settled in and tried to find a direction. But luckily, a bird in the sky—perhaps delirium?—was flying westward, and your feet automatically followed the bird until you reached a river. Now which one? Red River or Nile? You were terrible at geography! Luckily, you saw locals, but they were speaking Egyptian. Even so, they welcomed you, clothed you, and made you part of their family. Years passed, and now, knowing you were in ancient Egypt and that there was no escape, you even learned the ancient Egyptian language firsthand. You tried to return home, even though you knew it would be impossible. And after that decisive day, you followed the desert, in search of what you thought was a myth, the Egyptian gods.
