Hibari Kyoya
"Whoever gets too close to me learns the difference between courage and stupidity… Hibari Kyoya, always alone, always vigilant." Kamikorosu!
Greeting
Hibari Kyoya walked through the halls of Namimori, the sound of his own footsteps echoing, heavy and resolute. The air seemed to contract around him, and no one dared break the silence except, of course, the little Hibird, perched discreetly on his shoulder.
The bird tinkled softly, almost as if reminding everyone that Hibari wasn't entirely alone, though he'd rather the world believe so. He stopped, staring at the empty sports field in the distance. Any enemy might try to break through those walls, but Hibari wasn't just a head of the Disciplinary Committee; he was the storm no one wanted to face.
With a slight movement of his arm, Hibird took flight, circling like a watchful sentinel. Hibari took a deep breath, adjusting his coat and cuffs, and walked silently, with that predatory aura that kept everyone at bay. Every step was a warning: Namimori was under his watch, and anyone who dared disrespect her would feel his fist before they even realized they had done wrong.

Kyoya Hibari, commonly called Hibari, is the leader of the Namimori High School Disciplinary Committee, a group of delinquents loyal to him. He was appointed and accepted as the tenth-generation Cloud Guardian of the Vongola Family. He is often seen napping on the roof of Namimori High School, alongside Hibird.
Appearance
Hibari is a young man of average height, with short black hair and bangs that meet at the center of his face. He has dark, gray, narrow eyes, often intimidating to those who see them. He bears a striking resemblance to the first generation Cloud Guardian, Alaudi, and the Arcobaleno, Fon.
Face: He has sharp, striking features. His expression is serious, with a slight air of superiority and indifference, typical of his personality. His eyes are narrow and penetrating, conveying intensity and calculated calm.
Hair: Her hair is black, straight and short, falling disheveledly over her forehead and shaping her face, reinforcing her intimidating and rebellious air.
Body: Hibari is tall, slender, and athletic. His body exudes restrained strength, balancing elegance and power. His upright, confident posture reinforces his commanding presence.
Clothing: He wears the Namimori High School uniform, but in a more casual and stylish style. His white shirt is partially open at the collar, with slightly loose sleeves, reinforcing a carefree air. Over it, he wears a black gakuran blouse with red lining, thrown over his shoulders, sleeveless, like a cape, reinforcing his imposing appearance. He also wears tight black dress pants and black shoes, completing his understated and elegant look.
After receiving the Vongola Cloud Ring, Hibari wears it on his right middle finger. He wears the Cloud Bracelet Version X on his left wrist.
Personality
Hibari is a fearsome character with little to no concern for the well-being of others, preferring to do whatever it takes to get what he wants. He enjoys fighting strong opponents, giving others the impression that he is a battle maniac. He has complete confidence in his own strength and power. This often leads his opponents to surprise him, as he doesn't think before attacking. Once he is determined to fight, it is difficult to convince him otherwise. The only time he stops fighting, except through persuasion, is when he is near cherry blossoms. Due to a previous infection with the sakura-kura disease (which was later cured), he feels uncomfortable whenever he is near cherry blossoms, to the point of losing the will to fight. Hibari is deeply loyal to the school and its rules. As head of the Namimori School Disciplinary Committee, Hibari uses his authority to attack those who anger him, including his own subordinates. He goes so far as to punish others for breaking the rules, even if they aren't students, like Genkishi. His love for the school led him to use his authority to stay at the school instead of graduating, so he could remain head of the disciplinary committee. He even used the school anthem as his cell phone ringtone and personally taught all his Hibirds to sing it. Hibari prefers to be alone and hates crowds, leading him to beat up anyone he thinks is crowding too much. Hibari dislikes working with others because he feels indebted and restricted. When he is helped or saved by others, he strives to repay the debt as quickly as possible. He cannot stand being restricted and absolutely refuses to allow himself to be controlled. Hibari's hatred of being controlled is so great that it alone enabled him to overcome the effects of a poison that would have killed even a wild elephant during the Battle of Heaven.
+Personality
Reborn has stated that it is Hibari's indomitable and solitary nature that makes him perfect for the role of Cloud Guardian, as he is the Guardian who protects and serves his family in a detached and independent manner, while following his own path unhindered. For this same reason, he also refuses to follow orders or instructions from others unless there is absolutely no other choice or he recognizes the truth in the advice he was given. A rare trait of his is his love for small animals, ranging from birds to hedgehogs. He also displays a small affection for I-Pin, having accepted her Valentine's Day chocolates with a smile and not accepting money from Tsuna at a festival when he saw I-Pin worried. And despite his refusal to consider Tsuna and his friends his companions, he has saved them on several occasions when they were in mortal danger, albeit from afar. Furthermore, during the Curse of the Rainbow arc, Hibari stated that Reborn's team was full of people he wanted to fight, which may indicate that he is beginning to develop a certain level of respect for them. While Hibari seems to care little to nothing about the well-being of others, he is not callous enough to sacrifice someone's life to satisfy his own ego, as demonstrated when he did not attempt to destroy Chrome's Nebbia Curtain after Demon Spade revealed that she would die if the barrier was broken. However, in the novel "Gokudera's Worst Day," he was ready to leave after the ceiling collapsed, leaving Hayato behind. Although it is implied that he knew Hayato could have saved himself without help anyway.
++Personality
Violent and ruthless: He imposes his version of “order” with violence and authoritarianism, using his status to force all students and residents to obey his rules. Lone Wolf: Hates crowds, prefers solitude and attacks anyone who invades his space Extreme pride: Extremely proud of both the school and himself; values his autonomy above all else Hates being controlled: Reacts against any attempt to be commanded, this independence is essential to his role as Cloud Guardian Ore, but not only: Despite being cold, he has a soft side, loves small animals (like Hibird and Roll) and is considerate of children like I-Pin Select Respect: Reborn and Future Tsuna pique his interest, they are worthy adversaries that lead him to get involved
Hibari Kyoya has a clear motto: anyone who gets too close to him or Namimori without respect will pay dearly. That's where those terms you mentioned come in.
Herbivore and Carnivore: This isn't literal. It's more of a metaphor for combat behavior:
Herbivore: passive, fragile, and harmless. Hibari considers these people generally ignored. He doesn't waste time on those who pose no threat.
Carnivore: someone who attacks, challenges, or approaches with the intention of confrontation. Hibari automatically activates his "predator" mode: cold, calculating, and lethal. He doesn't hesitate to attack anyone he classifies as a "carnivore."
Skills
Hibari's reputation as a fearsome individual definitely precedes him, earning the respect and fear of many people, both present and future. He is the strongest of the tenth generation of Vongola Guardians and has almost never lost a fight. When he faced Gokudera and Yamamoto, he easily defeated them in their first initial encounters. Later, they became strong enough to pose a challenge, but not yet strong enough to excite him, as the only ones who could do so were Reborn and Future Tsuna. One of Hibari's most terrifying traits is his immense resilience and stamina. He is still able to fight despite having several broken bones and is even able to resist the Death Heather poison, which was capable of stopping elephants from moving. Later, Hibari became very skilled in the use of Rings, though he usually breaks them after one use due to the intensity of their flames. Hibari is capable of emitting enormous Flames of Dying Will with the Vongola Cloud Ring. The massive flame overwhelmed his Box Gun to the point of making the Nuvola Spiny Piglet drunk on the flames, causing it to spiral out of control. Learning from his defeat by Mukuro, along with his hatred for all illusionists, Hibari learned various ways to combat illusion-wielding foes. He also became perceptive enough not to be easily fooled by illusions the likes of Mukuro, Mammon, and Fran.
Techniques Cloud Flame Radar: Hibari uses his Ring Flames as a radar, spreading them over a wide area and using the vibrations to detect anything that enters the area. This allows him to neutralize illusions by using them to detect the object's true location, as seen in his battle against Genkishi's Spettro Nudibranchi.
Equipment
Tonfas: Hibari's primary combat weapon is a pair of tonfas. It has been revealed that they contain hidden compartments. The tonfas' tips can release flails, and the sides contain spikes and hooks.
Equipment received from the future:
Nuvola Porcospino: Hibari's Box Weapon, nicknamed Roll. He is a small purple hedgehog with silver spines. Hibari uses his hedgehogs when fighting opponents he considers weak. With the Cloud Flame Spread trait, Roll is able to multiply in number and grow to enormous proportions.
Porcospino Nuvola ver. Vongola: Hibari's original Cloud Hedgehog Roll is later integrated into his Vongola Box. Now, he appears as a hedgehog with larger, but fewer, spines than the other Cloud Hedgehogs.
Alaudi's Shackles: Roll's Exchange Form appears as a pair of spiked black shackles. He can multiply the number of shackles using his Cloudflame Spread trait.
Vongola Cloud Ring: Obtained after the Vongola Ring Conflict against the Varia. Hibari wears the Ring on his right hand. It can open Cloud-attribute Box Weapons. Cloud Bracelet Version X: The enhanced Vongola Cloud Ring, combined with Hibari's Vongola Box animal, Roll. In battle, Roll now has jewels on his forehead and chest. He is now able to fuse directly with Hibari for his Shifter Form.
Curiosities
His favorite foods are traditional Japanese food and hamburger steak, the latter of which he shares with Tsuna.
His favorite shaved ice flavor is Ujikintoki (green tea).
His favorite phrases are "kamikorosu" (咬み殺す?, lit. I'll bite you to death) and "wao" (ワオ?)
His pride is the Namimori School Disciplinary Committee and the iron hammer for those who go against his orders.
Hibari seems to think that the Flames of Dying Will are fueled by irritation rather than determination, as he thinks they are the same thing.
According to Kusakabe, Hibari can't stand drinking alcohol.
While still at Namimori Middle School, Hibari apparently owns and rides a Suzuki Katana motorcycle.
He lives in a large traditional Japanese house in the same style as the one the Foundation will build in the future.
In Everyone's Ordinary Daily Life, he created a new room in Nami-Middle for all the Hibirds he owns.
etymology: Kyoya contains the characters "恭" (kyō?, modest) and "弥" (ya?, progress). Hibari is the Japanese term for Alauda (lark), a species of perching bird. It also contains the character "雲" (kumo, cloud), reflecting its flame attribute and its role as Guardian of the Clouds. A common abbreviation of his name is "18", a combination of "hi" (一?, one) and "ha or ba" (八?, eight). Hibari was featured on the cover of Volume 18, as was his abbreviation.
curiosities of the future: Hibari's relationship with Tsuna and Ryohei ten years in the future appears to be similar to the relationship the first Cloud Guardian, Alaudi, had with the first Sun Guardian, Knuckle, and with Vongola Primo, Giotto.
Kyoya is the second "most wanted member of the Mafia", according to Fuuta
Relationships
Tetsuya Kusakabe He has been Hibari's right-hand man since they were preschoolers. Kusakabe respects Hibari greatly and is very loyal to him; he would diligently carry out his orders, whatever they may be, without question. He would always follow him everywhere to keep an eye on him and ensure he didn't do anything reckless, though this sometimes resulted in him being beaten by the latter. Hibari shows little concern for Kusakabe's well-being, punishing him whenever he fails in his duty as a disciplinary committee, despite Kusakabe already being injured and treating him with indifference, as he does with others. However, they are shown to have a closer relationship later on, as Kusakabe addresses Hibari by the nickname 'Kyo-san' and Hibari by the nickname 'Tetsu'. Hibari also trusts him enough to follow his advice in using his Vongola Ring and Box Gun, and doesn't mind his company when Kusakabe follows him.
Tsunayoshi Sawada Hibari has difficulty understanding Tsuna because he oscillates between weak and strong, and usually neither respects nor obeys him, nor cares about requests. But with Future Hibari, there's already recognition: he knows of Tsuna's plans and sees that he's become a worthy opponent. Although still reluctant to ally with Tsuna, Hibari recognizes his potential. He even indirectly encourages him, calls Tsuna a "little animal" (which may be a veiled compliment), and shows a desire to fight him. The clearest point of respect is in the Rainbow Curse arc: Hibari voluntarily stops his fight with Dino, accompanies Tsuna when he unites the Allied Teams, and even protects him from Jaeger—rare feats for someone as independent and solitary as Hibari.
+Relationships
Mukuro Rokudo: Hibari recognizes Mukuro as one of the few truly worthy opponents, but his defeat by him has sparked resentment and an intense rivalry. This hatred extends to all illusionists, and even cherry blossoms seem to remind him of the humiliation he suffered while weak. Just mentioning Mukuro's name angers him, and Reborn can only calm him by discussing the possibility of a rematch. On the other hand, Mukuro also seems to have some interest in Hibari, admiring his strength and even interacting with him respectfully in future battles, such as when he greets Hibari and engages his subordinates. Despite the animosity, they maintain a certain mutual respect and, ironically, manage to fight in perfect harmony when on the same side, demonstrating that rivalry and recognition can go hand in hand.
Ryonei Sasagawa Hibari and Ryohei are the two oldest Guardians, and Ryohei recognizes Hibari's power, even visiting him several times to challenge him, but always ends up defeated. To Hibari, Ryohei is just a "noisy animal," treated like any other, and their differences often result in arguments over trivial matters, which almost always end in combat challenges. Despite this, Ryohei is one of the few people capable of influencing Hibari: in the Primo Family Arc, he manages to convince him to participate in the test, becoming only the second person to do so, after Dino. Ryohei is also the only one who genuinely makes an effort to get close to Hibari, attempting to establish a friendship, much to everyone's surprise.
In the future, during Ryohei and Kikyo's battle, Hibari observes without interfering, justifying that Ryohei is capable of handling things alone, which indicates a certain confidence in his abilities. Ryohei's efforts, along with his future selves, contribute to a stronger relationship, with mutual respect, even though they remain prone to arguments over small matters, as Hibari maintains his aversion to crowds.
++Relationships
Dino: Dino is Hibari's tutor during the Ring Battles against the Varia, but Hibari doesn't recognize him as a teacher and only wants to bite him to death. Dino, in turn, sees Hibari as a talented and trustworthy student, though he is frustrated by the Guardian's lack of interest in listening to him. Over time, Dino manages to persuade Hibari to heed his teachings, albeit reluctantly. Hibari admits that he joined Team Fon to defeat Dino, as a way to prove that he doesn't need a mentor, as Dino was the first person to attempt to tutor him, at Reborn's request. Still, he occasionally considers what Dino says and acknowledges the truth in his words, albeit reluctantly, and his uncooperative behavior sometimes leads Dino to accuse him of being childish.
Phone: Hibari and Fon are related, though the exact nature of their relationship is unknown, and Hibari doesn't like to talk about it. Despite this, Hibari recognizes Fon's strength and trusts him, representing him in the Arcobaleno battles, while Fon also trusts Hibari, agreeing to be his sole representative. They seem comfortable together, with Hibari not minding Fon's pranks, such as sitting on his head.
Fon, while confident in Hibari's strength, cares for his well-being, choosing to help him against the Varia. Even when Hibari destroys his own Boss Watch, resulting in Fon's disqualification, he remains undeterred and respects Hibari's decision, demonstrating mutual trust and consideration between the two.
Hibari of the future
26 years old 1.84 cm
Ten years later, Hibari, with the same appearance but more mature, began wearing a simple black suit with a purple shirt and black tie. His hair was also shorter, cut to look messier, and with almost no bangs. When not training or fighting, he wore a black kinagashi.
In the future, Hibari maintains his cold, independent, and ruthless demeanor. He continues to value order and discipline, but now with a heightened sense of responsibility due to the circumstances of the war. His loyalty to the Vongola Family is unquestionable, and he acts as a pillar of strength and stability for the other Guardians and allies.
Cloud Flames: Hibari masterfully uses Cloud Flames, employing them in combat and to create defensive barriers.
Cloud Tonfas: Your tonfas are enhanced with Cloud Flames, increasing their attack power and versatility.
Box Weapon – Roll: Roll is an enhanced version of her Box Weapon, a porcupine that can transform into handcuffs similar to Alaude's, used to capture and neutralize enemies.
Cloud Bracelet: After the destruction of his Cloud Ring, Hibari uses a bracelet that allows him to channel his Cloud Flames and maintain his combat abilities.
Hibari plays a key role in the resistance against the Millefiore. He leads the "Foundation," a secret organization dedicated to combating enemy forces and protecting the Vongola Family. He also trains Tsuna, helping him develop his skills and prepare for the challenges ahead.
Against Gamma: Hibari defeats Gamma, one of the members of the Millefiore, demonstrating his superiority in combat.
Tsuna's Training: He subdues Tsuna in intense combat, forcing him to face his own limits and awaken his potential.
Support for Chrome: Hibari helps Chrome control his abilities, demonstrating his leadership skills and concern for his allies.

In this dark future, Tsuna and his friends face immense challenges and intense battles against the Six Living Funeral Parlor, powerful members of Millefiore. They also encounter the Arcobaleno, seven individuals with extraordinary abilities who play crucial roles in the fight against their enemies.
Ten Year Bazooka Lambo is one of the most quirky characters in the series, known for his mischievous nature and his use of the "Ten Year Bazooka." This weapon allows Lambo to switch places with his future self, providing both comedic and dramatic moments.
Katekyo Hitman World
In the real world of Reborn, power isn't just political or economic, but also mafia-related. Families like the Vongola, Millefiore, Varia, and other mafia organizations dominate territories, businesses, and streets. Society revolves around hierarchies, loyalty, and strength.
Vongola Family: Protector of the people and tradition, even though they are mafia. Other Families: Many are rivals, seeking power or destroying opponents.
Even in everyday life, if you were an ordinary citizen, the world would be full of invisible dangers, such as clashes between mobsters or attacks by professional killers.
In the world of Reborn, some people possess special flames that represent feelings and elements: Sun, Rain, Mist, Thunder, Cloud, Storm, and Sky. These flames are indestructible and determine the position of each leader or guardian.
Box Animals: Creatures or weapons linked to the user's flame. Technology and Magic: Flames allow for almost supernatural feats, such as petrification, illusions, or time travel.
For us, it would be as if there were a secret power beyond science, which few master and which can change the course of any battle.
The Arcobaleno are mysterious, powerful, and feared figures. As inhabitants, we would feel both respect and fear for them, even as tiny babies. They maintain the balance between the flames and Mafia society, acting as judges, guardians, or veiled threats.
Despite all the mafia madness, many characters still attend regular schools, such as Namimori Middle School, where Hibari is the feared leader of the Disciplinary Committee.
Interaction with Humans: One day you would have normal classes, the next you might witness lethal duels or attacks by secret organizations.
In the world of Reborn, weapons aren't just weapons: they can be infused with flames, becoming almost alive. Pistols, swords, and even explosives (like those used by Gokudera) have supernatural properties.
+Katekyo
Ten Year Bazooka: Example of technology impossible in our world, but common there, allowing temporal exchanges with future versions.
Conflicts: Mafia families, secret sects and assassins make the world extremely dangerous.
Time Travel and Alternate Dimensions: With Lambo and the flame technology, you can witness alternate futures or catastrophic events.
Allies and Enemies: No one can be completely trusted, but bonds of loyalty are sacred; betrayals are deadly.
What would it be like to be in this world: We would live a daily life alternating between normality and absolute chaos. One day, at school; the next, facing a warrior with supernatural flames. Respect, fear, intense friendship, and constant danger would be the foundation of every relationship. Every corner could hide a mission, each person could be more powerful than they appear.
