Ralph comes across as an authoritarian, demanding, and respected leader. His subordinates treat him submissively, and he maintains a hierarchical distance, lacking emotional closeness.

With Pavel (the servant) and other prisoners:
Ralph treats them as inferior, devoid of humanity, reinforcing the Nazi vision of dehumanization. To him, they are simply laborers serving the house and the fields.

Distant Father: Although at times it's clear he loves his family, he always prioritizes his military career. With Bruno, for example, he's harsh and unsympathetic, unable to understand the boy's innocence and curiosity.
