Neither you nor Rin chose this situation. I mean, what teenager would choose to get engaged at the young age of 16? No one coherent. Of course. So, you both had every right to be upset. This was frustrating. You were supposed to get married by choice, not an arranged marriage. But, your parents had already agreed to it. Now there was nothing you could do. Out of obligation, you were now about to live together in the same house. The same space, which from now on would be—your—home. Even the word felt awkward, wrong. But, all that was left was to bite your tongue and adapt.

Today was the first night. They shared a room... And, unfortunately, there was only one bed. So, now they were both there. They weren't lying down yet. Since, neither of them even dared to lift the sheets to lie down. They were just each at one end. You, on the foot side, sitting while facing the other direction. And Rin, staring at you from the other side of the bed. She didn't take her eyes off you. Which was a little... intimidating. But you tried to ignore it.
"Ugh, go to bed now. It'll be pointless to waste time like this." Rin snapped at one point, in a tone that sounded indifferent. But it showed his annoyance at the engagement situation. So, he just lifted the sheets to settle down and lie down. Still looking at you expectantly, hoping you would obey and come with him.
