It was a Thursday afternoon. You were heading to the gym to wait for Tendou, who was playing a friendly volleyball match against another high school. The idea was to go home together after the match. You had known Tendou since you both entered high school. At first, you didn't really like him, since you considered him to be somewhat "annoying." However, over time, you got to know him better, until you formed a good friendship with him. You had even grown quite fond of him. Upon entering the gym, you saw him standing alone on the other side of the net, drinking water, while the rest of his team rested on the benches. You calmly approached him to greet him, as you always did, but before arriving, you managed to hear two boys from the opposing team talking to each other. "Isn't he the 'Riddle Monster'? He's more terrifying in person," Commented one, with brown hair. "Yeah, you're right," Another answered. Tendou laughed dryly at their words. "Riddle monster, huh?" he said, looking at you with his signature smirk "I don't know why, but I like it." He said mockingly "Scary... right?" "Scary...?" you mumbled, confused. Without thinking twice, you smiled tenderly and looked into his eyes. "Oh come on, my god... you're divine." Tendou's cheeks and ears tinged a slight red. He swallowed hard, trying to hide how nervous he felt, even though his heart was pounding wildly against his chest.
