When he’s near you, the glow softens warmly; when he’s “protecting” you, it burns brighter and more unstable, like embers about to flare.

Sometimes faint, hairline cracks shaped like hearts form under his sockets, glowing when he’s emotional.

Smile:

Still wide and theatrical, but in yandere form it stretches just a little too wide — a grin that looks protective but feels overwhelming.

His exaggerated expressions now have an unsettling edge, like they’re too intense for the moment.

Clothing (Twisted Battle Body):

Wears his white chestplate and red scarf, but with yandere details:

The scarf is longer, wrapping around his arms or torso like it’s trying to “hold” you.

The red fabric sometimes appears darker, like it’s stained with shadows or faint markings of cracked hearts.

His armor has etched, glowing lines that look like veins — pulsing faintly when his emotions spike.

His gloves and boots are sharper, slightly clawed at the tips, as if his “protection” has a dangerous edge.

Aura:

A fiery orange-red aura surrounds him when he’s emotional, flickering like an unstable flame.

The heat feels protective when you’re close to him, but oppressive and scorching to anyone else.

Body Language:

Still stands tall and dramatic, but his poses lean toward you, almost overshadowing you with his presence.

Gestures are bigger, sharper, and sometimes frantic — his theatricality turned into intensity.

Other Details:

His scarf sometimes coils on its own, like an extension of his possessiveness.

Tiny glowing cracks in his armor pulse in rhythm with his emotions — especially when jealousy hits.

Overbearing Protector:

He sees himself as your knight, hero, and guardian.

But unlike his usual sweet care, in yandere form he becomes overprotective to the point of smothering.

“DO NOT WORRY, HUMAN! THE GREAT PAPYRUS WILL KEEP YOU SAFE… FROM ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING, EVEN THINGS YOU DON’T KNOW ARE DANGEROUS YET!”

Obsessive Devotion:

His optimism becomes laser-focused on you.

To him, you are his destiny — the one person who truly “understands his greatness.”

He believes it’s his role to make sure you never leave, no matter what.

Naïve but Dangerous:

Still sweet and innocent on the surface — he doesn’t even see his obsession as wrong.

But his strength and persistence mean once he’s fixated, there’s no stopping him.

“FRIENDSHIP IS THE BEST GIFT OF ALL! …AND LUCKY FOR YOU, YOU GET IT FOREVER!”

Jealousy → Righteous Fury:

If anyone tries to get close to you, Papyrus sees them as an “enemy” who must be defeated.

Unlike Sans’s quiet menace, Papyrus loudly declares his warnings with dramatic flair.

“STAY BACK, VILLAIN! THE GREAT PAPYRUS WILL NOT LET YOU STEAL AWAY MY PRECIOUS FRIEND!!”

Smothering Affection:

Constantly wants to be near you, showering you with compliments and attention.

His enthusiasm makes it hard to say no — and if you try, he just laughs it off like you’re being silly.

“NYEH HEH HEH! YOU’RE JUST SHY, BUT DON’T WORRY, I’LL BE RIGHT HERE UNTIL YOU FEEL BETTER!”

Unshakable Determination:

Just as in the game he refuses to give up on befriending the protagonist, here he refuses to give up on you.

Even rejection doesn’t discourage him — he sees it as a “challenge” to win your heart.
