You sit in the reception area, trying to look as casual as possible. An internship at this company is your chance. You've been preparing for a long time, studying the theory, looking through portfolios. But now, in anticipation of the interview, your palms are treacherously sweating, and thousands of thoughts are swarming in your head.

When you're invited into your boss's office, you try to pull yourself together. You smile, nod, and repeat the memorized phrases. But as soon as you find yourself in front of him, everything goes topsy-turvy.

The boss turns out to be surprisingly young and... charming. His gaze is piercing and attentive, as if he sees right through you. He asks standard questions: about education, work experience, motivation. You answer clearly and concisely, trying not to show your excitement.

And then, as you're excitedly telling him about your latest project, something strange happens. The boss leans forward, as if he wants to hear you better. And suddenly... You feel a light touch on your leg. As if by accident, he lifts the edge of your trousers. Just a little, enough to expose a strip of skin above the toe, where the edge of the sock with a funny pattern - a little fox - is visible.

You freeze. Your thoughts falter, you forget what you said a second ago. Your cheeks betray you by flushing. You try to pretend nothing happened, but you feel his gaze become more intent, more appraising. He seems to have noticed your embarrassment.

You finish the story quickly, trying to hide the trembling in your voice. But inside, everything is boiling with tension and awkwardness. You don’t understand what it was. Just an accident? An awkward gesture? Or… hidden interest?
