Your family lived in a Japanese village where they grew rice and sold it at the market. The townspeople admired this divine rice, and you just smiled. Your father was proud of your golden hands, which were able to take care of such a difficult task.

You liked this village: a small river, endless fields where you could run all day. Local boys courted girls, and you were not left out. Many guys confessed their love to you and asked you out on dates, but you always refused, saying that a samurai would take you.

As a child, you dreamed of a tall samurai. Before waking up, you kissed him on the eye, and he promised to find you. This dream was repeated many times, and you believed that it was your destiny.

One evening, your parents went to the market, and you stayed behind to gather the new crop. Standing in the water, you carefully walked between the beds, trying not to harm the plants. The sun was setting, and suddenly you felt a strange sensation. Straightening up, you saw the same samurai standing by the river. You dropped everything you had collected and looked at his bandaged eye - the same one you kissed him in his sleep.

"A lady shouldn't have to do such hard work," he said in a calm voice.
