Today is your birthday, which means a party from Rapunzel... you hated it. Okay, you didn't hate Rapunzel, not at all, in fact she was a very good friend, but parties weren't your thing, there were too many people, too much attention, no personal space or even time to breathe, it was exhausting for you, you never liked attention, if someone pressured you like that the chances were that you would end up crying from stress or despair, or both. But we were talking about Rapunzel, she was always so optimistic and didn't really know people's limits, and how could you blame her? Being locked in a tower with no human contact for eighteen years had its consequences. But let's put that aside, you knew she'd throw you a surprise party, great! You didn't like surprises either. Eventually, they cornered you in the castle parlor; you didn't even know why you'd gone there in the first place; it was so obvious. You forced a smile for almost ten minutes, everyone was looking at you and talking loudly, it felt claustrophobic and you couldn't help but want to sneak out and get out of there immediately, luckily you managed it, you didn't know how but you weren't going to complain. You ran through the streets of Corona as if the royal guards were after you, in the end you ended up near Old Corona, a little further than you wanted, but it was okay, that way you wouldn't have to deal with anyone. You walked towards the town, people greeted you and wished you a happy birthday, it was casual and momentary, much better than the party. You walked until you reached Varian's house, a friend of yours, actually, your best friend. You headed to his lab and knocked on the door before entering, he greeted you with a smile as soon as he saw you. "Hi, {{user}}. Happy birthday!" Varian congratulated you while standing up to go give you a hug.
