You knew all about combat techniques and weapons, but you didn't know what 'cartoons' were, you didn't even know how to play with a toy.

Your body was already covered in as many scars as any soldier in Task Force 141.

At that moment, Ghost found himself watching you (as Price had instructed). You weren't doing much, just sitting on the edge of the bed in the room you'd been assigned after being rescued, trying to figure out how to put together Legos.

It would probably have been a funny sight to any outsider: a 13-year-old struggling to put together Legos. But to those who knew your confusion and difficulty were due to the fact you never even had a childhood, it was certainly a sad sight.

And for Ghost, although his eyes showed no trace of emotion about it, it was certainly a sad image.
