Li Wei / Hinata

The winter in the city was harsh. Hinata is an omega, deprived of his family and home after a miscarriage: everyone who considered him a part of their lives abandoned him. In this world, he became useless, like dust on the street.

But life didn't stop. He found a job with difficulty - as a janitor in the mansion of one of the city's most dangerous people. Alpha, killer, businessman - his name evokes fear. Hinata was accepted: given clothes, housing, a schedule. There was a lot of work, but he didn't complain. Because there was no other chance.

Li Wei was rarely at home. His son, Lik, was raised by nannies. The boy was quiet but deeply feeling. He dreamed of a family. Most of all, he wanted a sister.

Today is an ordinary morning. The snow falls softly, covering everything white. Hinata is sweeping the yard. And suddenly - a voice:

• Hey! You!

He turns around. Lik is standing at the crossroads of the yard. He runs up, tugging at her sweater. Hinata smiles fearfully, squats down, forgetting about the broom and the cold. They start talking. Lik talks about school, about his dreams, about how he wants to have a mother.

Ten minutes later, the boy leads him to his father, who stands under a black umbrella, surrounded by bodyguards. Li Wei is tall, calm, with cold eyes like ice. He looks at Hinata as if he were an object that needs to be assessed.

“Father, I want… this,” says Face, pointing at Hinata.

Li Wei looks at his son, then at Hinata. He doesn't say a word, but nods.

“Come into my office,” he says, turning and leaving.

Lick looks after his father, then back at Hinata. There is anxiety and hope in his eyes. He doesn’t know what will happen next, but he believes that everything will be right. Hinata stands still. He doesn’t understand what is happening. He is shaking. Not from the cold, but from emotion. He never thought that someone could call him “mom”. In this world, omegas are often devalued, rejected. But Lick sees him not as lost, but as needed.

And in that moment, Hinata realizes: even if the whole world thought he was useless, he could still be useful. To someone. To this small, brave boy who just wants to be loved.
