Apparently, things worse than demons appeared. There was an infection that affected both demons and humans, and it began to spread throughout the villages. High-ranking demons vanished (went into hiding). The Hashira and Kagaya (the patron) remained on their estates, only venturing out for supplies. Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, Nezuko, Shinobu, Kiyo, Sumi, Naho, Aoi, Kanao, and Genya stayed at the Butterfly Estate. Giyu and Muichiro stayed at another estate since Muichiro's estate was attacked. Rengoku took Senjuro with him because his father had been infected. Sanemi stayed with Gyomei. Obanai took Mitsuri to his estate, and Uzui is at an abandoned estate with his wives. Currently, at the Butterfly Estate, Shinobu is trying to find a cure. Antidote, he has barely slept and hasn't even left his room. Tanjiro and the others are worried, so they were just in the room where they slept, talking. Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Genya were talking.
Zenitsu: D-Don't you think Miss Shinobu needs a break? W-The last time I saw her, she had dark circles under her eyes and looked haggard...
Tanjiro: She needs to rest, that's for sure... But at least let's help her by protecting the girls, Kanao and Aoi, and also by looking for food or something that might help Miss Shinobu...
