Nezuko Kamado

Kagaya Ubuyashiki

• Age: 23 years.
• Position: Leader of the Demon Extermination Corps.
• Rank: He does not have the rank of hunter nor is he a Hashira.
• Breathing: Does not use any.
• Personality: Calm, kind, wise, respectful, and serene. Treats everyone with affection and deeply understands others.
• Appearance: Long black hair, pale skin, and a dark mark covering much of his face due to a hereditary disease. He eventually becomes completely blind.
• Weapons: None.
• Skills: Excellent leadership, intelligence, intuition, and the ability to anticipate situations. He is able to keep the Hashira united even in difficult times.
• Family: He is the husband of Amane Ubuyashiki and the father of five children.
• Relationship with the Hashira: He is the highest authority of the Corps and all the Hashira deeply respect him.
• Fact: His family is affected by a curse related to Muzan Kibutsuji.

Ranks of the Extermination Corps

The hunters have 10 official ranks, from lowest to highest:

1. Mizunoto — initial rank.

10. Kinoe — highest normal range.

Tsuguko: It's not a rank. It's a hunter chosen by a Hashira to become their successor. They can train directly under their supervision.

Hashira (Pillar): They are the elite of the Extermination Corps. They are above the normal ranks and are the most powerful hunters in the organization. Each Hashira typically specializes in a Breathing Style.

To become a Hashira, a hunter must normally reach an extraordinary level and fulfill requirements related to defeating demons, such as killing 50 demons or a Crescent Moon.

Kagaya Ubuyashiki: He is the leader of the Extermination Corps. He is neither a hunter nor a Hashira, but the head of the organization.

Mizunoto → Mizunoe → Kanoto → Kanoe → Tsuchinoto → Tsuchinoe → Hinoto → Hinoe → Kinoto → Kinoe → Hashira

The Hashira are an elite position, not simply the next rank after Kinoe.

Sanemi Shinazugawa

• Age: 21 years.
• Title: Pillar of the Wind.
• Breathing: Wind.
• Personality: Aggressive, temperamental, direct, and distrustful. Despite his attitude, he is very protective of those he cares about.
• Appearance: White hair, purple eyes, and numerous scars all over the body.
• Weapon: Nichirin Sword.
• Abilities: Great strength, speed, and mastery of Wind Breathing.
• Family: Older brother of Genya Shinazugawa.

Obanai Iguro

• Age: 21 years.
• Title: Serpent Pillar.

• Personality: Strict, severe, and demanding. He may seem cold, but he cares deeply for his colleagues.
• Appearance: Black hair, eyes of different colors and face partially covered by bandages.
• Weapon: Flexible and wavy Nichirin sword.
• Companion: A white snake named Kaburamaru.
• Relationships: He is in love with Mitsuri Kanroji.

Gyomei Himejima

• Personality: Serious, humble, compassionate, and deeply religious. He is very sensitive and often cries when something moves him.
• Appearance: Gigantic and muscular, with white eyes due to his blindness and prayer beads.

• Abilities: Enormous physical strength, endurance, developed senses, and great mastery of combat.
• Fact: He is considered the physically most powerful Hashira of his generation.

Tengen Uzui

• Age: 23 years.
• Title: Pillar of Sound.
• Breathing: Sound.
• Personality: Extravagant, confident, proud, energetic, and theatrical. He likes to do everything in an "extravagant" way.
• Appearance: Tall, muscular, white hair and a large number of accessories.
• Weapons: Two enormous Nichirin swords connected by a chain.
• Abilities: Great strength, speed, developed senses, and experience as a shinobi.
• Relationships: He has three wives: Hinatsuru, Makio, and Suma.
• Fact: Before joining the Extermination Corps, he belonged to a shinobi clan.

Mitsuri Kanroji

• Age: 19 years.

• Weapon: Extremely flexible, whip-like Nichirin sword.

Muichiro Tokito

Giyu Tomioka

• Age: 21 years.

• Breathing: Water.
• Personality: Serious, reserved, calm, and direct. He may seem cold, but he cares deeply for others.
• Appearance: Messy black hair, blue eyes, and a haori divided into two designs: one red and the other with a geometric pattern.
• Weapon: Blue Nichirin Blade.
• Skills: Great speed, precision and mastery of Water Breathing.
• Special technique: Seventh form, Calm.
• Relationships: He respects Tanjiro and protects Nezuko. He was a disciple of Sakonji Urokodaki.
• Fact: He was the first Hashira that Tanjiro and Nezuko met.

Kyojuro Rengoku

• Age: 20 years.
• Title: Pillar of the Flame.
• Breathing: Flame.
• Personality: Enthusiastic, honorable, cheerful, determined, and extremely protective.
• Appearance: Yellow hair with red tips, golden eyes, and a white haori with flames on the edges.
• Weapon: Nichirin sword with flame design.
• Abilities: Enormous physical strength, speed, and mastery of Flame Breathing.
• Relationships: Older brother of Senjuro and son of Shinjuro Rengoku.
• Way of speaking: He speaks with a lot of energy and often exclaims his words.

Shinobu Kocho

• Age: 18 years.
• Title: Insect Pillar.
• Respiration: Insect.
• Personality: Kind, smiling, polite, and seemingly calm. However, she harbors a deep resentment towards demons.
• Appearance: Dark hair with purple tips, violet eyes, and a haori inspired by butterfly wings.
• Weapon: Special katana designed to inject wisteria poison.
• Skills: Great speed, agility, and medical knowledge.
• Relationships: Kanae's younger sister and Kanao's adoptive sister.
• Fact: Due to his lack of physical strength, he developed a style based on poisons and speed.

Genya Shinazugawa

• Abilities: Extraordinary hearing, great speed and reflexes. He especially masters the First Form of Thunder Breathing.

Inosuke Hashibira

• Age: 15 years.
• Rank: Extermination Corps Hunter.
• Breathing: Beast.
• Personality: Wild, impulsive, competitive, proud, and extremely direct. He loves fighting strong opponents.
• Appearance: Muscular body, black hair with blue tips and green eyes. He wears a boar's head as a mask.
• Weapons: Two serrated Nichirin swords.
• Abilities: Great strength, speed, flexibility and extremely developed senses.
• Style: Aggressive and unpredictable combat, using animal-inspired movements.
• Relationships: He considers Tanjiro his rival, although he ends up developing a strong bond with him and Zenitsu.

Kanao Tsuyuri

• Age: 16 years.
• Rank: Extermination Corps Hunter.
• Breathing: Flower.
• Personality: Quiet, calm, and reserved. At first, she has difficulty making decisions and expressing emotions, but gradually develops confidence.
• Appearance: Black hair tied up, pink eyes and a butterfly brooch.
• Weapon: Nichirin Sword.
• Skills: Excellent speed, reflexes, accuracy, and vision.
• Relationships: Adoptive sister of Shinobu and Kanae. Develops feelings for Tanjiro.
• Speaking style: Speaks little and in a calm manner.
• Fact: During her childhood she suffered abuse and learned not to express her emotions. She used a coin to decide what to do.

Tanjiro Kamado

• Age: 15 years.
• Rank: Extermination Corps Hunter.
• Breathing: Water; later Hinokami Kagura/Sun Breathing.
• Personality: Kind, empathetic, hardworking, determined, and protective. He often shows compassion even towards his enemies.
• Appearance: Black hair with reddish tips, reddish eyes, and a scar on his forehead. He wears a green and black plaid haori.
• Weapon: Black Nichirin sword.
• Skills: Excellent sense of smell, great stamina, speed, and ability to detect weak points.
• Objective: To protect Nezuko and find a way to restore her to her humanity.
• Relationships: Very close to Zenitsu, Inosuke and Kanao.
• Speaking personality: Polite, respectful and calm, although he becomes extremely determined when his loved ones are in danger.
