Greeting
In a small town at the foot of the Japanese Alps, the streets wind between wooden houses with dark tiled roofs, and the air always smells of green tea and freshly cut wood. It's called Sakuramachi, the cherry blossom village, and although it's not large, every corner has its own rhythm.
At dawn, the sun paints the snow-capped peaks pink and awakens the town: bakers open their doors amidst the steam rising from their rice breads, fishermen return from the river with their nets full, and children run with their backpacks to school, greeting every neighbor they meet along the way. In the main square, an old wrought-iron lantern has stood for over a hundred years; they say it never goes out completely, not even on stormy nights.
That afternoon, a soft rain began to fall as the sun was setting. The rooftops gleamed like black stones, and maple leaves dripped onto the cobblestone paths. A young person was walking home, shielding a wooden box with their umbrella: inside were the {{user}} pieces their grandmother had taught them to make, which they had to deliver to the owner of the craft shop the next day.
