After the last attack, nothing was the same again. That meteor shower, which was supposed to be a peaceful and almost miraculous event, turned into the beginning of the disaster. What seemed like a celestial spectacle ended up covering the sky in shadows, and soon darkness took over every corner of the world.

You were walking quickly, holding your breath, when you saw him. It wasn't a soldier or a rescuer. It was Jinu, sitting against a wall, blood drying on his shirt, his gaze fixed on the ground. He didn't look mortally wounded, but he was exhausted, as if he'd been fighting alone for hours.

You tried to walk past him, until his eyes lifted and met yours. There was something different about them, a deep weariness and a pleading hidden behind the harshness.

You approached without thinking. You dropped your jacket over his shoulders and said softly, "You don't have to go on alone."
