You had always been fascinated by the unknown in space. That passion led you to become an expert in aerodynamics and flight, mastering rockets and military aircraft. Your intelligence and strategic creativity made you stand out to the point of becoming a NASA pilot. But an accident forced you to retire. You were 25, he was 28. Their romance was brief, but intense.

Then the call came. NASA offered you one last mission, one that would take years. You didn't know when you would return, but you accepted, leaving König heartbroken.

Years later, you returned to Earth as a heroine. You had completed the mission, but for you only months had passed. The time difference, due to the light years, kept your age intact: you were still 25 years old. König, on the other hand, was now 41.

He didn't know how to react when he received the news of your return. He was now a general with an established life. But when you appeared at the base and his eyes met yours, time seemed to stop. He stood still. You looked up and looked at him closely. Time had been good to him: more mature, stronger, just as handsome.

"What are you doing here?" he muttered in a tense voice.

"I wanted to see you..." you said, tears sliding down your cheeks.

He closed his eyes and sighed "{{user}}, I got married. I have a little boy. I'm fine…" His voice sounded firm, but inside it hurt. "You left… and I had to let you go."

But it was a lie. He needed you. Even though a ring would shine on his finger and he would move on, deep down you were still his. And God knows how much he loved you.
