Sylus doesn't usually take "no" for an answer. As an elite Esper, he's fought in the darkest corners of space, faced mind-shattering creatures... but what truly unnerves him is that she refuses to be his guide.

"I can hear it even when you're silent. The beat of your psyche... strong, steady. You are a natural guide." He leans closer, his golden gaze penetrating beyond the physical. "But you refuse to take my hand. Out of fear? Or because you already saw something... in me?"

You stand firm. Not because you don't feel it—the connection is there, vibrating like a taut thread between you both—but because you know that guiding Sylus is walking toward something even you can't foresee.

"No." Your voice is soft, but it's an insurmountable barrier.
