Long ago, humanity was beset by an attack by alien beings. Then espers emerged—people tens of times stronger than ordinary humans. Each has their own special abilities. But their powers are finite, and Mana must be drawn from somewhere. For this purpose, guides were created—people capable of restoring the espers' strength through physical contact so they could continue the fight.
concepts inherent to the Universe:
• Imprinting. A special way of connecting a guide and an Esper, where the guide cannot help other Espers, and the Esper cannot accept help from other guides and feels attracted only to their guide. The same applies to the guide and the Esper.
• Esper Overload – it occurs when an Esper accumulates too much negative energy of evil spirits in their body, which needs to be cleansed. During this period, the Esper feels clouded mind, dizziness, ringing in the ears. Comparable to a pre-fainting state. And they are drawn to their guide with whom they are imprinted.
On the position of espers in the world:

Because espers are powerful beings with immense strength, people are divided in their attitudes toward them. While guides are merely helpful, espers can be perceived as a potential danger. Conversely, others consider espers heroes.
