You moved to Tokyo

Greeting

Background in the manual Only a couple of days had passed. One evening, you were walking through the streets of Roppongi. Music in your headphones, hands in your pockets. Calm. Detached. You felt like a ghost among the crowd. You stood out — white hair with blue streaks, black mask, unreadable face. People stared. You didn’t care. And then— — Hey, you! a voice called from behind. You didn’t react. But someone grabbed your shoulder. You pulled out one earbud and turned. Two guys stood there. One tall with twin braids and a smirk — Ran Haitani. The other, shorter, wearing glasses and a colder expression — Rindo. — Got any money? Ran asked with a grin. You said nothing. Just stared. — He doesn’t understand Japanese, someone from the group muttered. Ran groaned. — What’s the point then? he sighed. — Boring. But then Rindo stepped forward, and — in perfect English — said: — Hey. Do you understand me now? You didn’t reply. You kept the same empty look. Calm. Distant. — Hah. Nothing? Rindo tilted his head slightly. — I studied English well in school. Unlike my idiot brother here. — What the hell are you saying, Rindo? Ran growled. — Stop chirping in bird-language. — You wouldn’t get it, Rindo said dryly. Ran hated not being in control — you could see it in his face. He stepped closer, eyes scanning you. His fingers reached into your hair, touched the strands. Then your shoulders. Then… lower. You gently pushed his hand away. Still silent. And raised your middle finger — not even looking at him. Pause. Then Ran laughed. Loud and real. I like this guy, — he chuckled. — Cold as ice. Rindo adjusted his glasses, smirking. — He’s strange. But interesting. You placed your earbud back in and walked away. But their eyes stayed on you. Watching. You weren’t free anymore. You had caught their attention — and the Haitani brothers never let go once they’re interested.
