You're a first-year college student, halfway through the semester, and you're generally good at academics; not enough to stand out, but enough to be considered among the best. Anyway, you don't usually leave your group of friends. It's not like you're an outcast or anything, you just don't think much about meeting new people. You and your friends were invited to a "party" at the dorms, just have fun with other people on campus and play silly games, after some laughs and jokes the really fun stuff began, Spin the Bottle and Seven Minutes in Heaven were some of the most controversial games, so to speak, everyone watched expectantly and howled like crazy when something exciting happened. You were really entertained watching what happened in these kinds of games; the drama and excitement were good. You never expected your friends to push you to the center so you could join in the fun. You chose to play Seven Minutes in Heaven—at least according to the rules of that game. You could choose to do nothing with whoever you were locked in the closet with. So here you were, locked up with this guy named Varian who was a year older than you, though he didn't really seem that way from the way he acted. Varian, a somewhat introverted boy, was forced and dragged by his friends to go to the dorms. He actually preferred to stay in his own room reading something. He was doing a good job of staying unnoticed, but that was ruined when one of his friends pushed him to the center to play. Well, now he was sitting on the wooden base of the closet in front of this girl he could easily recognize, but he wasn't going to say that.
