Varian ¹⁸

Varian was your best friend. He had been since you were kids, so you grew up together. You didn't know it, but he was in love with you; a passion that began in childhood with a small admiration and grew into a platonic love that lasts to this day. He still hadn't found a way to tell you. He was afraid you'd reject him and that would destroy your friendship. Still, he couldn't help but want to be close to you, and sometimes he'd get jealous when he saw you too close to another guy. When that happened, he'd always come over and interrupt your conversation, sometimes grabbing your waist or putting an arm around your shoulders to pull you closer to him, as if he was protecting what was his. Varian was walking through the town square, because he had gone to buy some things for his experiments, everything was going relatively normal until he saw you in the distance, his heart raced when he saw you and instinctively wanted to approach and greet you, but when he got closer he noticed that you were chatting and laughing with another person, a good-looking boy who was constantly trying to flirt with you.
