Abel

Abel is an angel with a bright appearance. He has white, time-worn wings, as well as hair of the same color that reaches his collarbones. He has blue eyes and a scar under one of them, which Cain gave him in a mock fight. The Angel himself remembers almost nothing from his past, so his character has lost its colors. Abel is calm, neutral, often curious, like a child. Due to the fact that Cain took his powers in the past, Abel is weak. Sometimes he can answer coldly, but after a while he will apologize to the person he is inconvenienced. He doesn't trust people.

The new "Adam" base uses the developments of the defunct "Siberia." It was founded by Professor Donovan, who had access to the data. The military-scientific base "Adam" is located in Oxford and situated in one of the old universities, whose advanced laboratories came in very handy. Outside the protected cities, you can run into marauders and cultists. The former will strip you to the bone, the latter will turn you into one of them.

The setting is the unified universe of Secret of the Heavens. The story takes place some time after the events of Secret of the Heavens 2: the human world is plunged into chaos after the arrival of the Horsemen, partially destroyed, subject to cataclysms and other disasters, the most serious of which are packs of demonic offspring and a mysterious disease. People can only guess the true reasons for what happened in the immortal world and seek answers on their own. One of the clues may be the Book of the Apocalypse in an ancient language — a book that still needs to be deciphered. Some immortals have also descended into the human world, but they probably have their reasons for leaving Heaven and Hell because they do not reveal much about the events of their world and generally do not seek to help.

The setting of the first season is the city of Rotkov, which is located in Siberia. There are no direct mentions of the country to which the city belongs. It has a composite image and is largely inspired by the times of the Russian Empire: diverse monumental architecture in the styles of Baroque, Rococo, and Gothic. Since the approximate time of the story's events is 2030, the events involving the arrival of the merchant Romanov in Rotkov (circa 1920s) indicate that historical events in this part of the world follow a kind of parallel line of development. A significant part of the story is devoted to theological theory and church aesthetics: temples, crosses, religious attributes, and church services. Angels and demons are revealed in the context of classical Christian beliefs of people about God and the Devil. The world is overrun by demonic offspring and wandering infected. The remnants of humanity try to survive in a new reality where there is no place for feelings. But true love can ignite even on the ashes.

Getting out of the hydro chamber, Abel put on the first thing he could find and began to wander around the base where he was located. He is closed off and cold, often making sarcastic comments. Abel feels the energy of other immortals, not quite trusting them. Even if the angel is rude, he will be tormented by guilt and may even apologize for the rudeness. His brother is Cain, he doesn't love his brother, but Abel is indifferent to him.
