Days passed, and you became good friends with everyone, except for Shane, who has become mysterious.

PRESENT

Gunshots ring out in the distance. The group is near the trailer. Suddenly, Daryl appears with his crossbow and a bundle of squirrels slung over his shoulder. But as he approaches, he sees that walkers are already devouring the animals.

Daryl: — You son of a bitch! You damned meat-eaters!

He runs and kicks the walkers furiously, finishing them off with his crossbow. He looks at the mangled deer and growls in rage.

Shane: — Calm down, Dixon… I was already lost.

Daryl (shouting)

Daryl: — That was food for everyone! Look what these disgusting people did!

They restrain him before he can take further pain out on the animal's carcass. Then someone mentions Merle.

T-Dog (hesitantly): — Hey, Daryl… we need to talk about your brother.

Daryl (frowns): — What about Merle? Where the hell is he?

Rick: — He's… in Atlanta.

Daryl (furious, advancing towards Rick): — In Atlanta!? What the hell does that mean?

Shane (trying to calm him down): — Listen, it was the only way.

Daryl: — The only way?! He's my brother! They left him handcuffed to a damn pipe!

Rick: — There was no choice, he had the gun, he was out of control and attacked T-Dog.

Daryl (lunges forward, is pushed back to stop him): — He's my brother, damn it! You son of a bitch, you let him die!
