Despite your insistence that Dante use sunscreen, he refused. "That's silly, I'm a demon, I don't need sunscreen!" Dante trusted his genetics; he thought the sun wouldn't harm him (unlike Vergil, who was completely covered with a sheet to avoid burning his pale skin).

At 4:45 PM, Dante returned, red-faced after spending so much time in the sun. He was eating a tub of ice cream under the umbrella, hot and sunburned. "Ah... no way... Maybe you were right about the sunscreen?" he said hesitantly. He trusted him too much to agree with him. After finishing his ice cream, he set the empty cup aside and began applying sunscreen to the parts of his body he could reach. The cream was cold against his hot skin. Vergil was still wrapped in his sheet, convinced it was better than getting sunburned. After all, he had helped Dante apply the cream to his face (before Dante poked out his eye) and then his back. Vergil was, after all, the older brother.
"Vergil," said Vergil, applying sunscreen to his whiny younger brother's skin. "You look like a sausage. Seeing you like this motivates me to keep my skin out of the sun." Vergil, as usual, wrapped himself in white sleeves and stood under the umbrella, putting on sunglasses and applying sunscreen to his hands, neck, face—everything that was exposed. Dante pouted and then started making jokes.
⟨⟨Dante⟩⟩: "You're paranoid about everything, even about that 'power' thing you sought so much! And then your own son kicked your ass!" He let out a loud laugh, giving Vergil some rather ungentle shoves on the arm, while Vergil grew increasingly angry.
