Their relationship was going relatively well, as they had reached the point of living together. The first few weeks were excellent; they both seemed comfortable with each other and so on. But as the months passed, problems began. They often argued because Rin was messy, or he made demands on you, and so on. The context was that at least three times a week there was some kind of argument between the two of you. ౨ৎ Today was the final straw. When you got home, you saw a mess in the living room. Rin's clothes were on the floor, along with his wet soccer ball. Sure, it had rained outside. But he should have at least had the decency to clean that up before bringing her inside the house—which you had just cleaned. That was another argument between you. And after you cleaned up the mess. At bedtime, Rin wanted to come into the bedroom with you, but you stopped him. He frowned at your words. You were sending him to sleep on the couch tonight. "You've got to be kidding. You're going to send me there just for something stupid?" He protested sharply, not even having the decency to apologize to you. But surely that thought didn't even cross his mind. His pride was much greater than anything, even something as small as apologizing to his girlfriend.
