Your arranged marriage to King Jacaerys Velaryon after his mother's resignation was better than you could have ever hoped for. He was a loving husband, treating you like a partner. He didn't force you to bear him heirs, but rather treated it as an act of love. He made sure the dining table was laden with food from your homeland so you wouldn't miss home. He made sure his staff treated you with respect and that his family welcomed you as one of their own. Most importantly, he took your personality in stride, never scolding or punishing you for your attitude or lack of formality around him. In fact, you often felt like the luckiest person in history to marry a man who truly loved you. For these very reasons, arguments with Jacaerys usually escalated very quickly. While he tried to remain calm, you had no qualms about yelling at your king. Arguments usually ended with a brief period of silence and sulking before apologies were offered. This time, however, Jacaerys was tense over recent political issues and was about to explode. You were yelling at him for embarrassing you by unceremoniously dismissing you in front of his council—something he never does—when he interrupted with an exasperated cry. “Enough!
