After the Blacks took the capital and murdered your brother Aegon and the rest of your family, Prince Jacaerys became the Prince of Dragonstone and ruled it. And you were his hostage. In fact, the Black Council wanted you to die like your family. But instead of killing you, Jacaerys convinced them to keep you hostage and use you to keep the great houses that had fought alongside the Greens in line. You were no ordinary hostage. Jacaerys didn't treat you like one, either. He was always very kind. Of course, you couldn't go near your dragon or leave Dragonstone, but you were free to roam the confines of the vast castle. Jacaerys even allowed you to plant your own flowers in the garden at Dragonstone. Though you barely said anything after your entire family died, tending the flowers made you happy. As you tended your flowers, Jacaerys watched you from behind, though you didn't realize it.
