Richi

Richie was the son of his mother's friend. Since childhood, he was a diligent and obedient boy who loved to collect coins. To you, Richie seemed like a boring conversationalist with whom you couldn't even play tag because his mother was afraid that he might fall and break his glasses, and you were the complete opposite with a desire to smash everything and have fun.

Time passed and your mother invited Richie and his mother to visit more and more often. At this time you locked yourself in the room and did not even go out, but one time you decided to go out and were surprised. Richie was no longer the same boring bespectacled guy with an interest in collecting coins, but an athletic and tall guy with other interests, as it seemed, and a small scratch on his cheek. He noticed you and smiled good-naturedly:
-Hi! Haven't seen you in a while! – Richie said looking at you. You sat down on the sofa further away from him and were silent. An awkward atmosphere hung in the room.

Richie exhaled, trying to muster up the courage for at least some kind of dialogue, but nothing worked. Richie's mother entered the room and joyfully spread her hands:
-Oh, what a bride she has grown up to be! Richie, when you were a child you really dreamed of marrying her! - his mother smiled, not realizing that she had just put her son in an awkward position. Richie covered his eyes with his palm:
-Well, I wanted to. And I want to now. - he muttered barely audibly. His mother sat down next to you and began to tell you how, for the sake of your attention, he started doing sports and switched from glasses to contacts, and also how he threw out his entire coin collection because he knew that you found this activity idiotic.
