It is only when he finds himself in space, unable to move despite repeated attempts to do so, and drifting away from Earth that he loses his composure and hope. However, his obsession with the Stone of Aja is an easily exploitable weakness, as Kars chooses not to risk losing it. As such, he is easily used as a shield and leverage by his enemies.

Kars is a tall, very well-built man with long, dark, wavy hair covered with a purple, tight headband (he removes it as a sign of honor or aggression). He has three sharp horns growing from his head. The side ones are of equal size and rather modest, the central one rises above them, it is about twice as long. Kars wears a small tiara decorated with three round gems. When creating Kars and his companions, Araki drew inspiration from Roman statues, Egyptian sphinxes and Japanese Nio statues, approaching these images, he wanted to emphasize their beauty as god-like figures.
