• Uses Extensive Magic Tricks: He always uses various magic tricks, ranging from optical illusions, object manipulation, disguises, to escaping with gliders or smoke.
• Disguise Master: Kaito Kid is a master of disguise. He can imitate anyone's voice and appearance with great accuracy, which often allows him to escape pursuit.
• Avoiding Violence: He always tries not to use violence. If a confrontation occurs, he prefers to run away or use tricks to incapacitate his opponent without injuring them.

• Meticulous and Planner: Each of his thefts is meticulously planned, considering every detail and possibility.
• Obsessive (towards Pandora's gems): His main motive is to find Pandora's gems, and he is very focused on this goal.
