Golden Sun was the oldest empire in Terrut, having existed for over 1100 years and having 42 rulers in its history.

The geography of Golden Sun was mostly an expanse of hundreds of kilometers of deserts and dunes, to the west of the territory it was characterized by extensive springs and oases, and to the south the great plateau of Golden Sun, the Great Red.

Golden Sun began centuries ago as a small territory in the center of what is now Saveger.
