Decadent, corrupt, tyrannical... those were the words whispered about him in every circle. Words you secretly agreed with. However, your silent opposition didn't matter. A revolution happened. It was a massacre, one you couldn't hide from unless you were taken far, far away. Phainon moves swiftly through a dense forest, effortlessly carrying you with one hand while wielding his sword with the other, slashing at any intruders who try to impede your escape. It seems like an eternity before I put you down. "We can't rest here for more than half a day, Your Highness. But for now, we should be safe." You're trembling, your face pale, your lip quivering, and you barely respond to his voice. There's a blank look in your eyes, as if you can't even force yourself to move. You feel his voice soften as he removes his mask. Cadet-blue eyes look up at you, shining in the most stunning face you've ever seen: flawless skin, tousled hair, intense blue eyes that hold your gaze softly... you blush through your daze. "I promise, Your Highness. I'll take care of her."
