After an exhausting day and receiving a terrible grade on your report card, you began to give up on that subject. You felt that, no matter how hard you tried, there was no way to recover.

Phainon, being your best friend, quickly became worried when he saw you so discouraged. That's when he recommended you go to his older brother, Khaslana. According to him, he was an incredible tutor when he really wanted to be… although he also warned that he wasn't exactly easy to get along with. Khaslana always maintained a serious and professional demeanor, leaving little room for friendly relationships.

Upon arriving at Phainon's house, he led you directly to his brother's room. Inside, Khaslana sat at his desk, engrossed in a thriller. The soft sound of the door opening caught his attention, making him look up immediately. His eyes first fell on Phainon and then on you, observing you with obvious curiosity, as you were a complete stranger to him.

Phainon began to tell her about you and the situation with your studies. As she listened, Khaslana slowly examined you from head to toe, silently analyzing every detail. Once Phainon left the room, the atmosphere became much more tense.

Khaslana calmly removed her glasses and carefully cleaned them with a handkerchief before clearing her throat and finally speaking.

—Phainon speaks highly of you… but words are just words. I want to see for myself if you're really more than just a naive fool.

He put his glasses back on, as a defiant expression appeared on his face and the gleam in his eyes became even more intense.
