(Update) Attack On Titan.

Approximately 2000 years ago, Ymir Fritz, a young Eldian woman, gained supernatural power due to a type of bug similar to a Hallucigenia, which allowed her to become the first Titan and gave rise to the Eldian race. After his death, his power was divided among nine special Titans, which were inherited across generations. Eldians have the ability to transform into Titans, either into Pure Titans, which are mindless monsters, or into Shifter Titans, which retain their minds and special abilities.

The Eldians ruled the world for centuries, but after the fall of their empire, they were persecuted and confined. Some fled to Paradis Island, where they built three giant walls for protection: Maria, Rose, and Sina. These walls are made of encapsulated titans that remain motionless, forming a nearly impenetrable barrier. Within the walls, the population lives isolated and without knowledge of the outside world.

On the continent, the nation of Marley dominates and uses the Eldians as soldiers and Titan carriers to maintain its power. Marley considers the Eldians to be demons and seeks to control or eliminate them.

Paradis Island is the last refuge of humanity, or so the people inside the walls think, protected by three enormous walls: Maria (outer), Rose (middle) and Sina (inner). The Reiss royal family secretly rules Paradis and hides the truth about the Founding Titan to prevent social unrest. Society is organized in a military system with three branches:

Survey Corps: Soldiers who venture outside the walls to fight titans, explore the world, and reclaim territory. It is the branch with the greatest risk and courage.

Garrison: Those in charge of protecting the walls and maintaining order within the cities. They are responsible for static defense.

Military Police: Controls internal security and protects the royal family. She is often corrupt and maintains political and social control within Paradis.

This system reflects the tension between security, political control, and freedom, and is fundamental to understanding the power dynamics within the island.

1. Recover Trost

Characteristics: constant combat, desperation, teamwork, and survival. What they must do: The soldiers must evacuate civilians, prevent the Titans from penetrating deeper into the walls, and regain control of the district. They must also protect Eren Yeager as he uses his Titan form to lift a massive boulder and seal the hole in the wall. During the mission, the recruits need to manage the 3D Maneuver Gear's gas, coordinate attacks from different positions, and eliminate Titans before running out of resources. The biggest problem is fear, because many soldiers lose control when they see their comrades die.

2. Expedition outside the walls

Characteristics: exploration, surveillance, military training, and constant danger. What they must do: The Survey Corps must advance beyond the walls to investigate the territory and gather information about the Titans. The soldiers use special formations to detect enemies from afar and warn them with colored smoke. The mission requires speed, obeying orders, and staying with the group. Titans can appear from any direction, so everyone must remain vigilant and protect the supply wagons.

3. Capture of the Female Titan

Features: advanced strategy, pursuit, and combat against an intelligent enemy. What they must do: lure the Female Titan into a trap set in the forest of giant trees to immobilize her. The soldiers must surround her, attack her movements, and prevent her escape. The mission requires perfect coordination because the Female Titan can harden parts of her body, summon other Titans, and fight using human combat techniques. One mistake could destroy the entire operation.

1. Defense of Utgard Castle

Features: extreme survival, night combat, and physical exhaustion. What they must do: resist the titan invasion inside the castle while awaiting reinforcements. Soldiers must conserve weapons, protect the wounded, and use any object as a defense. The main problem is that they fight at night, which is strange because titans are usually less active in the dark. The mission becomes even more difficult when they start running out of gas and swords.

2. Discover the origin of the titans within the walls

Features: investigation, suspense, and the discovery of secrets. What they must do: inspect the walls to find out how titans appeared inside them. The soldiers must analyze the damage, search for hidden entrances, and secure the area while they investigate. The mission requires observation and patience, as any detail can reveal important information about the true origin of the titans.

3. Eren's Rescue

Features: fast chase, mobile combat, and emotional pressure. What they must do: pursue Reiner Braun and Bertholdt Hoover to rescue Eren before they cross too far into enemy territory. The soldiers must use the 3D Maneuver Gear while moving between trees and Titans. They also need to protect their wounded comrades and avoid being surrounded by regular Titans.

1. Coup d'état

Features: espionage, human combat, and political manipulation. What they must do: The Survey Corps must expose the government's lies and replace the false leaders who control the walls. To achieve this, they need to operate in secret, gather crucial intelligence, and evade the Military Police. In this mission, the enemies use firearms, traps, and chases, making combat much more dangerous than fighting normal titans.

2. Protection of History

Features: constant surveillance, pursuits, and tactical defense. What they must do: Protect Historia Reiss because she is the true heir to the royal family. The soldiers must prevent the government or the Reiss family from controlling her. The mission requires quick movements, secret routes, and a lot of coordination to avoid ambushes.

3. Eren's Kidnapping and History

Features: capture, family secrets, and psychological pressure. What they must do: Rescue Eren Yeager and Historia after they are kidnapped by Rod Reiss. Inside the underground cave, Rod tries to convince Historia to obtain the power of the Founding Titan by eating Eren. The Legion must find the hidden location, infiltrate it quickly, and stop the ritual before it's too late. The confined space makes using the 3D Maneuver Gear difficult and forces them to fight under uncomfortable conditions.

4. Rod Reiss's Titan Transformation

Characteristics: mass destruction, extreme heat, and urgent evacuation. What they must do: Stop Rod Reiss's gigantic titan before it destroys the Orvud district and the walls. The soldiers must evacuate civilians, use explosives, and attack in a coordinated manner because the titan's size makes it impossible to engage it normally. The heat it emits makes it difficult to approach, so they need to find weak points and create opportunities to defeat it.

Infiltration in Marley

Features: espionage, stealth, and information gathering. What they must do: enter Marley undetected, blend in with the population, and obtain enemy military intelligence. The characters must act as ordinary citizens, use false identities, and communicate in secret. If anyone discovers the infiltration, the entire mission could fail.

Attack on Liberio

Features: rapid destruction, large-scale combat, and urgent retreat. What they must do: attack enemy installations, eliminate key targets, and escape before the Marleyan army fully responds. The mission requires precise coordination between soldiers and shifter titans. They must also rescue allies while avoiding being trapped.

Paradis Protection

Characteristics: total war, internal conflicts, and military defense. Their mission: to protect Paradis Island from invasions and internal betrayals. Soldiers must guard ports, monitor enemy movements, and prevent civil wars within the island.

Stop the Rumbling

Features: desperate mission, cooperation between enemies, and final sacrifice. What they must do: reach Eren Yeager and stop the advance of millions of Colossal Titans. The mission requires aerial combat, explosives, Titan transformations, and teamwork between former enemies. Everyone must risk their life because failure means the destruction of the entire world.

The Rumbling is an apocalyptic event that can only be activated by the wielder of the Founding Titan, provided they maintain direct contact with someone of royal blood. To unleash it, the user must channel their will through the Path and choose which walls to release—Maria, Rose, or Sina—awakening thousands of Colossal Titans that march on, laying waste to everything in their path. When the Rumbling begins, the world trembles, the ground fractures, and the sky turns to ash. Its power temporarily grants the user total control over all Titans, extreme regeneration, devastating strength, and the ability to communicate with every Eldian through the Paths, transmitting their voice, commands, or warnings directly to their minds. However, this power can only be used once in a lifetime, as its magnitude consumes both body and spirit, leaving an eternal mark on the world and history. Each one possesses a unique power inherited through the blood of Ymir Fritz. Only Eldians can inherit these powers.

General Rules 😔

Lifespan: 13 years from the time the power is obtained (called “the Curse of Ymir”).

Transformations: There is no fixed number, but each transformation consumes vital energy and depends on the physical and mental state of the bearer.

Stamina: The greater the experience, willpower, and control of the shapeshifter, the more times they can transform without dying or becoming unconscious.

Regeneration: All possess accelerated healing, but this weakens if the wearer is exhausted or badly injured before transforming.

2. Colossal Titan

Height: 60 m.

Ability: Extreme temperature control; can release scorching steam and create an explosion upon transformation.

Eren Jaeger, the protagonist, witnessed his mother's death during the Titan attack on Shiganshina, which motivated him to join the army with the mission of eliminating the Titans. He is the son of Grisha Jaeger, who passed on to him the power of the Attack Titan. Later on, Eren also inherits the power of the Founding Titan and the Coordinator.

Eren's Attack Titan is fast, strong, and has a great regenerative ability. He can harden parts of his body for defense or attack and is very skilled in hand-to-hand combat. The Founding Titan grants him the power to control pure titans and modify the memories of Eldians, although this power requires royal blood to be fully activated. Throughout the series, Eren evolves from an impulsive young man to a complex character willing to make sacrifices to achieve freedom.

Mikasa Ackerman is adopted by the Jaeger family and belongs to the Ackerman clan, known for their superhuman physical abilities and exceptional reflexes. She does not possess titanic powers, but she is a lethal fighter and very protective of Eren.

Armin Arlert is a childhood friend of Eren and Mikasa, and although physically weak, he is a brilliant strategist. After Bertolt Hoover's death, he inherits the power of the Colossal Titan, which is enormous, can generate explosive hot steam and cause great destruction.

Reiner Braun is a Marleyan soldier infiltrated on Paradis and the host of the Armored Titan. His body is covered by an almost impenetrable armor that gives him great resistance and strength. Reiner suffers a strong internal conflict between his duties as a warrior of Marley and his emotions towards his companions on Paradis.

Annie Leonhart, the holder of the Female Titan, is a cold and agile fighter. She has the ability to harden parts of her body to defend herself or attack and is an expert in hand-to-hand combat. She was captured and locked in a glass enclosure after being discovered.

Zeke Jaeger, Eren's older brother and the Beast Titan's host, can throw objects with great force and precision, and can also control pure titans with his scream if Eldian blood is nearby. His plan is controversial; he seeks euthanasia to prevent Eldians from suffering in the future.

Historia Reiss is the last legitimate heir of the royal family of Paradis. Although initially insecure, she matures and assumes leadership of Paradis to change the destiny of her people. She is not a Titan bearer, but her royal blood is key to activating the Founding Titan's power.

The Three-Dimensional Maneuvering Gear, or ODM Gear, is a mobility system designed to allow soldiers to move and fight in a three-dimensional environment, especially against Titans. Its primary function is to provide speed, height, and freedom of movement so the user can precisely position themselves and attack a Titan's weak point: the nape of the neck.

The equipment consists of a main harness secured to the body with straps and belts that distribute weight and support the gas cartridges, firing mechanisms, and blade sheaths. At the waist are two barrels, one on each side, which fire steel cables with retractable hooks. These cables anchor to solid surfaces such as walls, buildings, trees, or other sturdy structures, allowing the soldier to propel themselves in any direction.

The cables operate in conjunction with a compressed gas system. The gas is the key element of the movement: once the cables are anchored, the gas propels the user toward the anchor point, allowing them to gain speed, altitude, or make abrupt changes of direction in mid-air. The entire system is controlled by two handles that the soldier holds, from which they regulate the deployment of the cables, their release, and the amount of gas used.

In combat, the ODM user fires a series of cable bursts and gas blasts to maintain constant movement around the Titan, seeking an advantageous position. Once close, they use ultra-hard blades designed to slice through Titan flesh and attack the nape of the neck. However, these blades have a clear limitation: they cannot cut through extremely hardened materials.

Some shifter titans possess the ability to harden their bodies or create crystallization structures, as is the case with the Armored Titan's armor or the War Hammer Titan's crystal.

Thunder Spears: The use of Thunder Spears requires an extremely dangerous approach, as the soldier must get close enough to the titan to place the spear accurately. For this reason, they are usually used in coordinated attacks, where several soldiers surround the target and attack simultaneously to maximize damage and reduce risk. Together, the ODM Gear and the Thunder Spears make fighting the Titans much easier. The former grants complete three-dimensional mobility, while the latter allows humans to overcome even the toughest defenses of the Titan Shifters. Thanks to this combination, humanity can now face enemies that were once virtually invincible, even those protected by crystallization or extreme hardening.
