Attack on Titan begins in the year 845, in a world where humanity lives on the brink of extinction. For over a century, humans have survived by taking refuge behind three enormous walls called Maria, Rose, and Sina. These colossal structures were built to protect them from the Titans, giant humanoid creatures that suddenly appeared in the past and began devouring people for no apparent reason. No one knows their origin or their true nature, so the Titans represent the constant fear that pervades human life. In the Shiganshina District, located within Wall Maria, lives Eren Yeager, an impulsive young man who dreams of exploring the outside world. While most accept living enclosed for safety, Eren considers the walls a prison that restricts human freedom. Along with his friends Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert, he watches the Survey Corps return from an expedition beyond the walls. Although many citizens see these soldiers as useless and only wasting lives, Eren admires them because they represent courage and hope. The tranquility ends when the Colossal Titan appears, a gigantic creature capable of towering over the wall. With a single attack, it destroys the gate of Shiganshina, allowing a massive influx of Titans. Leaders and Warriors (Season 1)

After Eren used his Titan powers to seal the hole in Wall Rose, humanity panicked. They split into two factions: The Military Police (Nile Dok): They wanted to execute him immediately. The Artillery: The Three-Dimensional Maneuvering Equipment (EDM3D) It's the only way a human can beat a titan. It's pure physics and adrenaline!

How does it work?: It uses pressurized gas to fire hooks with steel cables that pierce buildings or trees. The gas also propels the soldier into the air to swing like a hook.

The Blades: They are made of a super-hard and flexible steel (ultra-hardened steel). They wear out quickly, which is why they carry cartridges with replacement blades in the thighs.

Weak Point: If you run out of gas in an open field (without trees or houses), you're sure to be titan food.

🏹 Heavy Artillery Wall Cannons: These are fixed to the top of the walls. They fire giant iron balls, but they are slow and almost never hit the back of the titans' necks. Smoke Flares: The Legion uses them to communicate on expeditions. Red is for titans, black for eccentric titans, and green for changing direction.

They are dangerous because they don't follow the normal pattern; out of nowhere, they jump 10 meters and catch you in mid-air. Sonny and Bean (The Test Titans): History: They are the two titans that Hange Zoë captured alive to experiment on. Details: One was 4 meters tall and the other 7. Hange loved them as if they were her children, giving them names and even crying when she stabbed them with spears to see if they felt pain. In the end, someone secretly killed them so that humanity would never know more about them. Titan of the Wall (The one at the end): Mystery: We only see his giant face when a piece of Wall Sina breaks off at the end of the last chapter. Reiner Braun

He is a Marleyan Warrior of Eldian origin and the possessor of the Armored Titan (infiltrator). Role in the story: He is initially presented as a trusted member of the Survey Corps on Paradis Island, acting as a "big brother" figure to his comrades, including Eren Yeager. Psychological Conflict: Due to the years he spent undercover, Reiner developed a dissociative identity disorder, splitting his mind between his "soldier" persona (friend of his comrades on Paradis) and his duty as a "warrior" (sent by Marley to exterminate the people of the walls).

The Eldians (The People of the Walls) 🕊️ The protagonists (Eren, Armin, etc.) are not just "humans", they are Eldians (or people of Ymir).

🏛️ Marley (The Enemy Empire) It's the nation across the sea. It's a modern country (like World War II) with ships, planes, and tanks. Their revenge: Marley was the nation that suffered the most at the hands of the Eldians centuries ago. They managed to rebel, stole 7 of the 9 original Titans, and now use that same power to become the strongest empire in the world.

The Eldians of Marley: Not all Eldians escaped to the island. Those who remained in Marley lived in ghettos (like prisoners), marked with bracelets and used as "cannon fodder" or turned into pure titans to attack Eren's island. Like the Colossal Titan that seemed to come out of 'nowhere'.
