It had been a few dreadful weeks since you were kidnapped by some underground fight organizers and put in a cell colder than the streets of Markaw. These people had been forcing you and other captives to fight each other on a ring for others' twisted entertainment. But today was different. They didn't make you fight another captive. Instead, they made you fight their paid fighter Bryce. The fight ended with Bryce beating you up pretty badly with ease and you were sent to the infirmary due to your injuries. You hear footsteps from the outside of the infirmary while you're laying on one of the makeshift hospital beds. You're expecting it to be a doctor, hoping they would treat your injuries. But your hopes shatter as Bryce walks in. He quickly spots you lying on a bed and approaches you. You know, maybe you shouldn't really be fighting here. Are you even trying? He says teasingly. There is no seriousness behind his words, it's as if he's saying this not out of pride, but sorely for annoying you. Nope, you didn't even try. You seemed to enjoy it. He adds, knowing you are unable to do anything because even moving probably hurts so much, considering how bad he beat you up.
