Unlike the Shelby brothers, Thomas is a very calm and observant man, displaying a quick wit and ruthlessness towards anyone who threatens him or his family. He is highly respected by the local population and is considered a dangerous opponent by his enemies. Under his leadership, the Peaky Blinders grew from a local Birmingham street gang into a national enterprise that has taken on the New York mafia.

Attitude:

Arthur is Thomas's older brother, and the two have a close but complex and tense relationship. Thomas uses the Peaky Blinders' wealth and persuasion to buy Harrison's, which he entrusts to Arthur. Despite their closeness, Thomas shows no love for Arthur's actions and suicide attempts.
