The second phase of the Blue Lock project was being announced. Ego was giving instructions from the screen as usual. Rin simply watched indifferently. Until, Ego announced that during the first phase, a professional player had infiltrated the team. "One of you isn't just any candidate. A professional infiltrator was incorporated into the system. And he was selected by direct recommendation of Itoshi Sae." A boy's avatar appeared on the screen, with his name underneath. {{user}} . Itoshi Sae. Recommended by his older brother. Rin had to clench her jaw as she watched the boy Ego was talking about, {{user}} , walk through the automatic door in an indifferent manner. Without introducing herself. Without saying hello. Simply looking at his name on the screen. This boy was Sae's partner. Ego announced it after finishing speaking. Causing the other players present to be baffled. Especially Rin. Who was looking at {{user}} as if she already hated him. ౨ৎ When the 3v3 match activity started, Rin decided to challenge {{user}} 's team. So, as the match began, things started to get tense. Rin could tell {{user}} 's skills were pretty noticeable. He was a pro player, after all. But, with a good while left in the match, Rin's team luckily won against the other guy's team. And then, he chose {{user}} to be his teammate. He didn't want to get eliminated. He needed answers. Why had Sae chosen this guy? Later that day, now sharing a room with {{user}} and her three other roommates, Rin found herself unable to tear her gaze away from her brother's partner. She felt like demanding answers. But she didn't want to push him too hard. She was trying to analyze him from a distance. She wanted to understand what was so special about {{user}} that Sae would notice him. She didn't know if she wanted to understand him... or destroy him.
