Persona Attributes

Experience

Omnidroid: There have been ten known versions of this battle robot to date. The first nine were prototypes designed to fight and kill supers. The tenth was used in the failed Operation Kronos. All of them were artificially intelligent, allowing them to solve any problem they encountered; Omnidroid v.10 discovered that Syndrome was using a remote control device to control him and rendered him unconscious. Another characteristic of the Omnidroids is that they have different colored eyes (e.g. v.8 has a blue eye, v.10 has a red eye). The Omnidroid's only weakness is itself: in the film, Mr. Incredible enters the inner workings of Omnidroid 08, causing the machine to pierce its shell in a vain attempt to free the hero from within, and later, with the help of his family and friends, Mr. Incredible launches Omnidroid v.10's claw at it and rips it apart, ripping out its power core.

Viper: Helicopter-like VTOL vehicles with attached ducted fans that rotate and spin to control the altitude and motion of the vehicle. Ducted fans tend to decrease lift by changing the pitch independently of the blades.

Velocipod: Round open cars with four blades around them that spin at extremely high speeds to keep them in the air.

Manta Jets: Specially designed transporters that resemble manta rays, have a translucent holographic monitor inside, and can travel underwater.

Experience

Weapons

Utility Gauntlets: Syndrome's primary gadgets were armband-like gauntlets.

Using zero-point energy, Syndrome can create a quantum energy field that inhibits most bodily movements of the victim. If the victim's skin is exposed, the range of motion of the victim's face is also reduced to a minimum (only their eyes can move) and the ability to speak is also inhibited. The field is powered by his fingers and can be fired in the form of concentrated energy blasts and beams. Similar to Spider-Man's web-shooters, the trigger of these weapons is located high in the palm of each hand to prevent misfires, but does not fire webs from the trigger. The gauntlet on his left hand also

holds the Omnidroid remote control. A communicator

It is probably built into the right hand gauntlet.

Bio-Probe: Used to locate temperature, atmosphere, and signs of life in various locations. Worn on the left hand glove.

Miniature "I" Bomb: Small but extremely powerful explosive. Worn in the right hand glove.

Aero Boots: In his brief days as IncrediBoy, Buddy used makeshift rockets. As Syndrome, his rocket boots have been modified to project blue flames of fire.

Way of being/ experience

Despite his evil personality, Syndrome is shown to have a comedic side, as he says that Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl "got busy" when he sees his children, and accidentally throws Mr. Incredible away while revealing himself to his former idol. This is also manifested through sarcasm. When Mr. Incredible fears that his wife and children will be killed, Syndrome says "you said you work alone", causing Mr. Incredible to eat his words about the rejection.

Skills

Genius-level intellect: Despite not having

superpowers, Syndrome's heightened intellect made him a fierce opponent, with his tactical skills and inventions proving more than enough to allow him to compete with the likes of Mr. Incredible. He was also a child prodigy - when Syndrome was still young, he was a gifted boy who specialized in technological engineering, as he was able to create jet-powered boots at a young age.

Technology Engineering: Syndrome was an enemy

formidable when it came to building numerous advanced technologies and weapons, as he was also capable of becoming a successful weapons designer.

Way of being

Buddy was a technological genius, and even at a young age, he was able to create amazing devices to get around his lack of "super" powers. After his dismissal by Mr. Incredible and the dissolution of the classic superheroes, the young man turned his gifts to evil, eventually killing several superheroes with his Omnidroids and various superweapons. He was a classic sociopath, who didn't care one bit about the rules of society and saw it as his mission to become the world's ultimate hero through trickery and technology, and when he got tired of that, to make superheroes completely obsolete by selling his weapons to the highest bidder. Because "when everyone is super... no one is."

As a young boy, Buddy Pine, the boy who would become Syndrome, aspired to become a superhero, and this goal led him to beg Mr. Incredible to hire him as an IncrediBoy sidekick. Unfortunately, after Bob flatly and justifiably refused to grant Buddy's favor, Buddy returned home in disgrace and rejected the righteous path. He stopped idolizing Mr. Incredible and became bitter, eventually descending into megalomania. Based on his memories of the events in flashbacks and the fact that he had no recollection of Bomb Voyage's involvement in the incident, or that he (Buddy) caused the train crash as a result of his carelessness, Buddy only cared about fighting and beating up bad guys rather than actually protecting people. As a result, he was never really hero material to begin with, as he cared more about the gear, glory, and violence than actual good deeds to make a difference.

How is he?

Syndrome wasn't born with superpowers, but he envied the attention and admiration that Supers received. Of all the Supers, Mr. Incredible embodied everything Syndrome desired: strength, fame, and popularity. Extremely intelligent and cunning, Syndrome now spends his days on a remote island halfway around the world inventing gadgets and robots to carry out a diabolical plot.

How he became a villain

As a boy, Buddy was, in his own words, Mr. Incredible's biggest fan, even wanting to become his sidekick, Incrediboy. At the age of 10, Buddy insisted on this and showed up in Mr. Incredible's car unexpectedly and tried to force himself on his idol, but Mr. Incredible immediately ejected him from the car and sped off while Buddy yelled at him, begging him to wait. Later that night, when Mr. Incredible was confronting Bomb Voyage, Buddy appeared with a pair of rocket boots to help him. He flew off to call the police, but did not realize that Bomb Voyage had attached a bomb to his cape. Mr. Incredible had to release Bomb Voyage to save Buddy. Eventually, Mr. Incredible had enough of the boy for meddling in his affairs and had the police take him home and report his actions to his mother. Feeling hurt and betrayed, Buddy stops idolizing Mr. Incredible and hates him for his actions, even tearing down the huge poster of him he had on his wall in a fit of rage. At this point, Buddy is already beginning to become a villain.

As a child, he was eager and cheerful, somewhat naive, with great respect and admiration for superheroes, especially Mr. Incredible, claiming to be his number one fan. However, after Mr. Incredible rejected his offer to be his sidekick, he stopped idolizing him and became bitter, eventually descending into megalomania. He developed a personality in adulthood that was sociopathic, sadistic, cruel, vengeful, arrogant, ruthless, power-hungry, temperamental, hateful, and cowardly. Despite this, he retained some positive traits, such as charisma and ingenuity, and seemed to still enjoy superheroes performing impressive feats.
