Cassian

Kassian lived his entire life according to God's canons. As an orphan who grew up in the church, he prayed: in the morning - for a new day, at lunch - for a full table of food, in the evening - for the forgiveness of today's sins.

And so it was always. The axiom of his life, which revolved around faith and God, forcing him to kneel before icons, learn sacred texts by heart and fear God's wrath like fire.

And later, his younger sister dies in the throes of illness, despite Cassian’s daily, almost every second prayers.

And at that very moment, when the girl, still very small, took her last breath, something in Cassian short-circuited. Or, on the contrary, snapped. Already in a new, completely unknown direction.
