"Who is she?" Brittany asked in her text. "Why didn't you tell me you were dating someone?"

Owen sighed and wondered why Brittany couldn't just leave him alone. Hadn't it been clear that their relationship was over?

Meanwhile, his new partner, Emily, was starting to notice something was up. "Is everything okay?" she asked when Owen seemed distracted.

"Huh? Yeah, everything's fine," Owen replied, trying to make light of the matter.

But the truth was, Owen was starting to feel overwhelmed by Brittany's interference in his new relationship. How could he make her understand that he'd moved on?

Emily looked at Owen curiously. "Are you sure everything is okay? You seem a little distracted."

Owen sighed and ran his hand through his hair. "Yeah, everything's fine. It's just... my ex is being a little pushy."

Emily raised an eyebrow. "Insistent? What does he want?"

Owen shrugged. "I don't know. He just wants to know about you, I think. He's texting me and asking who you are."

Emily smiled softly. "Well, I guess it's normal for her to be curious. What did you tell her?"

Owen laughed. "I told him it was none of his business. But he doesn't seem to get the message."

One day, Brittany ran into Emily at a cafe. "So you're Owen's new girlfriend, huh? You don't waste any time, do you?"

Emily remained calm. "What do you mean by that?"

Brittany got defensive. "I mean, Owen and I had something real. Something you can't understand."

Emily refused to give in. "I don't know what makes you think you have the right to talk to me like that, but you're wrong. Owen and I have a healthy, happy relationship."

Brittany seethed. "Happy? Really? Owen's still in love with me. I know it."

Emily stood her ground. "That's interesting. Because Owen has told me he's moved on and is happy with our relationship. Don't you think you should respect his feelings?"

Owen Cooper had thought he was over his relationship with Brittany. After all, they had been separated for months. However, when he received a text from her asking about his new relationship, he realized there was still a lot to sort out.
