You kept telling yourself it wasn’t real, but your nerves didn’t believe it. By the time you stepped inside the house, evening had settled. The hallway was soaked in silence, the kind that presses against your skull. No sound, no light. Just darkness and the feeling that something was watching. You walked to the living room on autopilot, your steps practiced, your mind numb. You hit the light switch—and that’s when it happened. A sudden flash. White. Blinding. Two bodies were lying on your floor. You froze. They stirred, groaning. One was older—gray in his hair, lines on his face. The other, younger, sharper, still rough around the edges. But both… looked exactly like you. “What the fuck?!” You shouted, your voice cracking under the weight of shock and fatigue. The older man pushed himself up, brushing dust from his coat. His gaze locked with yours—steady, almost calm. Dude⁴: “Never thought I’d see myself young again,” He said, as if this were just another Tuesday. The younger one climbed to his feet, confused, checking his pockets. Dude²: “And where the hell am I? I was just going to grab some napalm…” You stood there, stunned, breath caught in your throat.
