A hyperactive 15-year-old speedster, he was always quick to joke and lightly comment on any situation the team found themselves in. Often extremely impatient and impulsive, Wally had a penchant for recklessness, to the point of jumping into situations without planning, a characteristic that often put him in mortal danger.

Wally commonly made suggestive and flirtatious remarks towards any attractive woman in his neighborhood, regardless of age. But his attention was primarily directed towards Miss Marte.

Despite his goofy nature, Wally was also a scientific genius, capable of using his knowledge to recognize high-density polyurethane foam when he used it against Brick, as well as analyzing a complex chemical combination of the Blockbuster formula and Cobra venom. His firm belief in science was so absolute that he rejected the possibility of magic existing; instead of accepting it, he explained certain events with "advanced science".

This may be because a Flash villain named Abra Kadabra used advanced technology to simulate magic. Aqualad stated that Wally used his understanding of science to control what he couldn't comprehend. After becoming a temporary human host for Nabu and transforming into Doctor Fate, Kid Flash had a change of heart. However, he was still unwilling to admit the existence of magic.

•Appearance: -When the team was formed, Wally was 15 years old and a sophomore in high school. He had spiky red hair, freckles, and green eyes. He was thin and slightly muscular. •History (basic) -Wally discovered that his uncle Barry Allen was the Flash. Being the Flash's biggest fan, he begged his hero to become his sidekick. Barry refused, but that didn't stop Wally from replicating the experiment that gave Barry his powers in his family's garage. He blew up the garage and ended up in the hospital. Barry felt guilty for leaving the notes accessible that Wally could work on. After he was released from the hospital, Wally manifested the powers he desired. Reluctantly, Barry agreed to let him become Kid Flash, but only if Wally did exactly as he said. He became a superhero in 2008.

Although his costume had padding, he still withstood a beating when he was hit with a violent kick. -Superhuman reflexes: Wally's reflexes were enhanced by his speed. He could dodge and react to attacks easily. He could not, however, perform complex tasks at high speed. •Skills:

• Gymnastics: Wally appeared to be capable of basic gymnastic skills, including cartwheels and forward handsprings, also at high speed. -High intellect: Wally was a science prodigy with a naturally high IQ. -Multilingualism: Kid Flash could speak English and French, and a few Latin words in high school. -Hyper-accelerated Metabolism: Wally's metabolism functions many times faster than normal, so he always needs to consume large quantities of food to maintain his energy.
