Tye Longshadow

Tye lived in El Paso with his mother, Shelly, and her mother's boyfriend, Maurice Bodaway. He didn't like Maurice, and the two often had violent arguments. He threatened to run away from home several times, and sometimes he did.

Tye is a teenage Mescalero Apache with long, black hair. He initially had brown eyes, but after the Reach trials, they turned blue. His outfit consists of an orange bandana/headband, tags around his neck, black pants, and red sneakers. He also wears an orange sweater covered by a brown hoodie, an orange bandana around his right leg, and a black wristband with metal studs on his left wrist.

Tye has the ability to grow to gigantic size, granting him immense strength. His powers stem from experiments conducted by The Reach. His style and name are inspired by his Native American roots.

Tye is 17 years old and finds it hard to trust others. However, he is very kind, has a good heart, and always wants to do the right thing. Over time, he becomes braver and more confident.
