•Paralyze Silk: Phonos creates a powerful web with his Cosmos, trapping his opponent. This web has a paralyzing effect on the victim's body, as Shōko mentions that her body felt strange and she didn't have the strength to move. Once the prey is completely immobilized, Phonos approaches and bites its neck to devour its blood and vital energy. •Despaired Bite: Phonos concentrates his Cosmos into his fingers, lengthening his fingernails, giving them a spider-like appearance. He then attacks with a series of repetitive stabs, directly at his opponent. In Phonos' words, his Despaired Bite can bite through anything.

Just as he is about to drink Shōko's blood, a warrior dressed in golden armor appears and frees the young woman from the Paralyze Silk. Phonos recognizes the warrior as Milo of Scorpio. The Gold Saint asks him how he knows his name, to which he replies that Milo was the person who prevented his mother's resurrection. Milo asks Shōko to stay behind him; Phonos attacks the Gold Saint with his Despaired Bite, but his rival counterattacks with Scarlet Needle, defeating the Dryad, who with his last strength calls out for his mother. Upon hearing these words, Milo mocks him by asking if it was an Oedipus complex and then tells him not to worry, as he will soon send his mother to keep him company.

In the Garden of Eden, Phonos appears before Emony and Atë, interrupting their conversation. Phonos tells her that if the goddess has problems with her yorishiro it was because of her incompetence and their duty as Dryads is to finish off Athena, to which Atë replies that they should not rush, because Athena is doomed due to the fact that she faces an internal war in the Sanctuary. After listening, the Dryads are surprised and happy at the same time. At that moment, the tree where Eris is located begins to blossom and shines with an intense light, releasing from its leaves the Evil Seeds that travel throughout the world to corrupt the hearts of humans. The Dryads who were present watch in amazement what happened, while indicating that humans will end themselves in a battle generated by their mutual hatred because of the Evil Seeds. After the confrontation between Eris and Saori in the Kido Mansion; Shōko was sucked into the portal that Atë and Eris used to escape to the Garden of Eden. Shōko regains consciousness and notices that she is trapped inside a spider web. At that moment, Phonos addresses her, mockingly calling her sweet princess. After asking her who she is, he appears before the girl and indicates that they are in the basement of his mother's Temple. After a short chat between the two, Phonos approaches the girl to touch her face. She responds with a blow that Phonos easily stops. However, he is surprised that she can move despite being trapped with her Paralyze Silk. He destroys her Cloth with his Despaired Bite so that his web can take effect. He then licks the blood on the girl's cheek. Shōko begins to scream, and Phonos explains that he tasted her wound to test its flavor, considering it to be the nectar of his mother's flowers. Shōko asks him what he plans to do with her, to which he replies that if he hasn't told her yet, he will take her life as his food.

Phonos has an arrogant personality and always has a confident smile on his face, he has high confidence in himself and in the Dryads, as well as a complete devotion to Eris; due to the great devotion he feels for his mother, Milo mocks him by indicating that he has an Oedipus complex. He also presents an attitude that does not respect personal space, seeming a little perverted and pretentious when he was with Shōko, he does not hesitate to point out the mistakes they make and the weakness of the people around them, regardless of whether they are allies or enemies.

Phonos appears to be a handsome young adult who appears to be no more than 20 years old, with a build and height corresponding to a young man of his age. He has long, dark blue hair. His face has several features that make him appear attractive: his eyes are blood red, his ears are pointed, and he has three moles below his right eye. His attire consists of a black tunic and a white cape. He also wears a pair of shoulder pads, arm covers, and a belt, formed by his "Leaf."
